I have the impression this one is going to be his Oscar, although I won't be watching it until next week! It's just a hunch!

Well just from the trailer.... and from how he is performing and the parts he has recently had.... I hope he does get an Oscar.
I will certainly have a tear in my eye when he does.

Still hoping more preview locations come up, but if not I will definitely be paying ( cannot believe I am typing that word on this thread:eek:) to see it.

I hope they allocate more tickets for The King's Speech :(

    Fingers crossed on that one.

I thought I might be in the minority wanting to see that film, but glad to see others are equally enthusiastic about it.

More the King's Speech tickets available, but only for telegraph subscriber. Can I subcribe just for the day or something like Timesplus for the ticket and pay £1 for the subscription or so?

It really is excellent - they showed a preview a couple of weeks ago at Nottingham Broadway with a Producer Q & A.

It's touching and funny, and beautifully acted. Firth will almost certainly get an Oscar nomination, and I wouldn't be surprised if Helena Bonham-Carter gets one too.

Sorry for the delay - just back from watching The Next Three Days.

Thanks for letting me know that more tix were available.

Wrt subscribing temporarily - no probs with that. Just try to do so as cheaply as possible, i.e. as near free as will let you. Hope you get tickets.

I was looking for how to subscribe temporarily i.e. just for the day but have been unable to find it. May have to miss out on this one, for others who have seen, please let me know if it is worth seeing in the cinema. but I like Colin Firth :) so think will go just for him.
