Hi guys I had the mountain Lodge delivered Monday, I phoned and they said would send station out and pick up lodge. Picked up lodge Tuesday. Phoned Thursday to ask where station was and told had been sent would recieve by weekend. Today I get a letter saying goods no longer available! What should I do? Phone and complain? The man I spoke to on the phone told me there was no stock and I'd need to reorder so I knew I'd never get it at that price anyway but still thinking of complaining by letter. To be honest I dont think you get much luck on the phone as they'll fob you off with one excuse or another. I also hadnt realised there is a charge for courier picking up from you now - they never even offered that anyway at their expense and told me to return to store which I cant do until Monday when I'm back at work, and it is a hassle as I'll be rushing about doing it during my lunch break.0 -
She just told me she cant do anything till Monday when admin are in and they have already put through my refund so will have to buy again at £30! she got the Christmas catalogue out and was like ooh I see what you mean but tough basically! Gave me an email address so I am off to vent my anger! going by earlier posts they would have been alerted to the error before they even sent these out. They told me on the phone that the order number I gave them was indeed for the deluxe station (even though they've now switched that number to the smaller sets (how sneaky!), but that the warehouse had mixed them up and sent out the wrong ones. Why they cant just admit the pricing error I dont know. Good luck with your email.0

just an update, I received my order early last week and was sent the small fire station. I kept hold of it and did not phone cs. I have then kept on checking the site until the delux one was showing back in stock (today), rang cs and told them about the wrong item. Went through the shpeil of explaining i'd ordered the delux and she told me the number corresponded with the small set and that the delux one was now out of stock, so I said that it was showing as in stock on my computer. I also said that I had ordered it using the number in the catalouge. She asked which one so I told her the christmas one and she went and got a copy, agreed that the numbers were opposite on the website and that she would arrange for the return of the samll one and reorder the delux with a £15 credit (effectivly making it £15). Order should be here tomorrow so will see what mr postman brings!0

My order for the firstation was kept in the reserved items in my account and when I checked a couple of days ago they had changed the description of the item reserved from the deluxe firestation to a firemen sam adventure set with figure!! and kept the price the same. So i just cancelled before they sent it out as they were not going to send what I had actually ordered. Saves me a trip to return it.0

funnily enough i complained to customer services and they said they were going to look into the deluxe set for me and rang me back saturday to tell me it looks like they wont be able to get hold of the deluxe set in the near future....and offered me £20 credit for the inconvenence...will be interesting to see if u get it?0

same here with the description, in reserved items it was delux and stayed that way for a few days after it was delivered. Just noticed when I went on to phone them that it is now in recent activity as station with figure. had taken a screen shot of reserved items list previously just in case but she didn't mention it. Will see tomorrow I suppose, although i'm half expecting another small one!0

Well I complained via email on Saturday and here is my response!
Thank you for your e-mail.
I am very sorry for the many problems that you have experienced whilst trying to order the Fireman Sam Deluxe Fire Station Playset.
I can confirm that I have made a note of this on your account. Unfortunately, due to an error which has now been corrected online, you were receiving the wrong item. The letter that was sent out to you was referring to the Adventure Playset which is now showing as sold out. This is because of the item number discrepancy.
Even though the Christmas Directory does state the wrong price, as you have been informed of the correct price before placing any further orders, we are unable to offer this item at £15. This item is currently available to order at £30.
I am really very sorry for any inconvenience caused.
