Fireman sam deluxe fire station £15 from next Urgent

Im sorry if this is in the wrong section but a few weeks ago there was a thread on here to buy fireman sam deluxe fire station for £15 ,it was worked out that they got the two stations mixed up and should have been £30 ,anyway i ordered 6 for xmas pressies ,so i waited for an email to say it was a misprice and would not recieve ,anyway today they arrived ,looked at the invoice 6 deluxe fire stations £15 each ,opened up the bag to find 6 boxes all with deluxe fire station on ,
It was only the last minute before wrapping them that i thought i would open one ,and to my shock they have put just the ordinary fire station in !
i have called next and they said there is nothing they can do as the deluxe is out of stock ,I am not having it as i think this is fraud on behalf of next ,there trying to send out goods hoping i would not notice.
so if anyone else has ordered please check ,unless i get a reasonible answer shall go to trading standards ,if there is anyone that can help please do .
I just cannot believe they are not going to sort it out ,they just said return the goods

So they switched the boxes? If thats right then where are the six deluxe that were originally in those boxes? or have I read that wrong?

OMG! Thats quite shocking. Is it likely to be an honest mistake at the factory or have people swapped them on purpose? The amount of hassle to take them back, the wrapping paper youve used (which could be expensive) - Id be rather miffed. Can you imagine if you bought as a much wanted gift only to open on xmas day and have a very disappointed child. Much force for getting the right result from Next. Do keep us informed :money:

The invoice clearly says £15 deluxe fire station ,then all the brown boxes has stickers on and sealed saying deluxe fire station ,but inside is the normal fire station.

and they have said they tried to contact everyone to say it was a misprice ,so to me it looks as though they have frauded me.

what do you think ?

I'd be careful using the word fraud - as this isn't what this is. I do agree that it is wrong - they should try their best to replace the items with what you purchased.

what by trying to think your getting the right item ,when they have just changed the stickers around ,to me thats fraud !

they have not told me that they did not have items untill i called them ,i have not had an email saying that they would replace with the other item ,the invoice clearly shows that they have sent me the deluxe ,and they knew of the pricing error weeks ago ,so if i changed stickers for a lower price i would get done for theft !

thats what they want to do ,but would like some advice if anyone has any and would make sure anyone else that purchased check it ,maybe im the only one .

I ordered one of these too just had an email to say its on its way I shall let you know which one I get and the prices will be really annoyed if its the smaller one! They have changed the price of the deluxe one to £30 on website now

I am awaiting my delivery! I ordered 1 of them for my Fireman Sam mad DS! I have had a dispatch email so should be today! I too will not be impressed if they have done this to me! I rang last week and she said they were awaiting stock and I should recieve it soon, no mention of replacement product! Im eagerly awaiting the courier now!
