    Since my last post I've

brought in washing, wetsuit (now dry) and karting boots (still wet)
washed every utensil, pot and pan that needed it, plus dried them and put away
shredded four carrier bags full of papers - will now make that a weekly chore...ooops I mean delight!!!!
    cooked tea
    decluttered tea
so now there are dirty pots again aaaarrrggghhh

thanks for the offer of a free cuppa if you hadn't been away for the sqeakend pigpen.....I now know that all fluffy mules will be coming from the north, and you're not that far away so they'll still carry some clout....practising ducking :)

:hello::hello::hello::hello::hello::hello::hello::hello:ooh TAG it is lovely to see you - I wish I had been around earlier - i used to love my HHC buddy xx hope its nice changes that are coming your way. BTW how is little bruv - is he here just now?
And for any of the new ladies that wonder about their dailies - TAG's list is brilliant ............

Oh Toots you've made me blush :o

Have to say, it's great to be back 'flying' officially as it were. :D

Little Bruv is doing great. He joins his new ship next month. Oh and he's getting married next year as well. Miss Tag is going to be their flower girl! :D

Changes wise, it's work. Still doing my little part time job but also starting up my own business (again), come the beginning of November. So I'll be busy, busy which is why I need to get my behind into gear and get back on here properly.

Oh and some very, very sad news. Remember my Escort? She's had to go to car heaven :(:(:(:(:( I nearly cried when she was carted off to the scrap yard on the back of a flat bed!!:(:(:(:(:(

Right going to munch some dinner now, then I'll do a bit more off my list whilst DS takes the Sweepster for a quick run across the field.
    Back later

Ishtar hi honey - how are you and how is Mum? are you my twin? I should do an hour each day - like you I have too many started projects!!!!

    Hi Toots
Thanks for remembering me! Mum is doing very well - the hysterectomy appears to have caught the cancer, but the removal of the lymph nodes has caused her some drainage issues with her left leg. She is due to go back in November and will be referred for an exploratory operation if it hasn't resolved by then. But, she is currently 'clear' at the moment :j.

As regards the knitting, I love starting things, but I lose motivation when I'm halfway up the first part...not sure what that's about !!

Anyway, I hope things are going OK with you at the moment and you're not doing too much?

I'm off to tackle the post-dinner kitchen. Those sides will be sparkling (I've already done the oven/hob).

    Take care
    D

Ishtar that is great news about Mum's cancer - a pity about the problem with the leg but I am sure they will get that sorted.
You have inspired me - I am going to try to declutter some wool over the next month - must get some things finished.

MissHiggerty - good luck vibes winging your daughter's way.

Really need to shift my bum & bring the washing in - perhaps I'll even manage 15 mins ironing before the scout run:A

Ishtar - great news about your mum's cancer. I hope they sort out the drainage issues quickly xx

I've spent much of the last two hours at the vets. Stripes suddenly couldn't put any weight on her leg (the one she broke). They're hoping she's just got some soft tissue damage but not sure how because she wasn't doing anything to suddenly make her limp. They're concerned the pin might be causing a problem but want to try a weeks total rest (ha ha) first. Fingers crossed!

On the plus side - it means I've gained an extra two hours a day to be a good little flylady (hee hee, that so isn't going to happen!). Going to make a start on the kitchen - see what I mean! xx
