that was really helpful. Decluttered one cupboard and two drawers in the kitchen. Remind me why I have kept every old net onion bag we have bought for a year?

    .
Hah! That's nothing :D When I moved into DH's flat with DH, (which had been the family home) we found his mum had carefully stored every single wine bottle cork she seems to have ever come across in one of the kitchen drawers. They had gone a bit mouldy eeeewww.
On the me side of things though, I've decluttered a box full of old takeaway cartons "which might come in handy" (I've got heaps of tupperware so there's no need) and a bag of old roasting tins (tell me why I kept them for so long) Top of kitchen cupboard now sparkling! :D
Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.
  • Hi all, I'm in. Thanks to central command.

Up all night wheezing and changing DD2's bed - she weed it twice through a nappy each time!!!

Congratulations to your DS Wilf, on the company sponsorship I would ask for £250 or £500, or specific bits of kit. Is it worth writing to local golf clubs/golf shops/manufacturers? Get someone who is good at writing these things to help! A lot of these things land on my desk - the ones that get past me to MD are the ones with some local/community interest and enough information for me to check it is genuine. We used to sponsor a couple of local people, our name on kit etc but we have new owners who see this as a waste of money sadly. Maybe have a look on the charities/small business boards? Have a look at csr (corporate social responsibility) and pinch some of the buzz words - a lot of the blue chips are big on this, and force their suppliers to do stuff too. Can you set him up as a business an get support from Business Link? HTH
