Just the living room to hoover now.

So not impressed with the governments plan to stop child benefit for higher earners, ours gets spent every month on the kids.

This is my nemesis as well! Perhaps we should make a pact to sort them once and for all ;).

    Deal :D

I cleared the ironing last night. The table was clear but it now covered with clean sorted washing, and the unmatched sock hill. I have shifted a couple of piles upstairs but I genuinely do have to stay where I can see the drive in case the car collecting person actually turns up. The rest of the mess is DHs tools, paperwork mountain on the (never used) desk, and vast quantities of dust due to the building works in the rooms above, and lots of hair balls due to the dogs. Not the cats obviously who would never do such a thing ;).

Dusty, me too. I will probably have to go back to work 'properly' if we lose that bit of money which is a shame.

    Hello:wave:

I'm in this week. Thankyou all in FCC.

I disappeared down a black hole sometime last week - but it really helps to read that other flyers have good intentions and then slide....

...and what is it with AF? has she started a sabotage campaign on flyers? She visited here a week ago, left and seems to be on her way back - and I notice from the thread that others are having similar aberations (sp?) Tis an anti-flying conspiracy I reckon, but who:think: by?????

    So far today I've:

got up!!!! that's a good start
    taken DS to college
Had coffee with mum - typical conversation:

Me: I'm taking DS to see Hull University on Saturday.
Mum: Oh yes, I've seen it advertised.
Me: ??? you've seen what advertised?
    Mum: The wrestling!!!
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
You have to laugh or you'd cry.

Hung out DS's wetsuit/karting boots to dry - he was racing yesterday and got very wet.
    WM on

I've worked out one thing that isn't helping my flying campaign...I do the dailies weekly and they take forever.

Task for the week for Roundtuits = do dailies daily......anyone know where there store 'discipline'??

Love hugs and spoons to all

  • I am in again this week just caught up on thread,Thanks to all at flylady command, kitchen is a right mess took DD1 to dentist and have put on DW but that is it so far.

Glad I am not the only one who is having trouble keeping up with the flying really need a good kick up the backside at the moment to keep me on top of it.

My biggest demons are my garden and my ironing and I really need to tackle those.

Going to go and book council to collect the rubbish yet again lets hope they take it this time and then do HHI before I start the kitchen.

    Anyone wants to join me?

    OK reporting back:

The ironing is well under way, TV delcuttering ongoing :rotfl: then the phone rang and it was a friend asking banking type stuff. Fly hat off, paid work hat on! Info collected and then rang work for more info. Appt arranged to see said friend later this week to sort. Also asked work re other matter and am awaiting call back ;)

Whilst on phone noticed how awful kitchen windows are  started to clean these whilst on phone. Carried on clearing one pane which is streaky and 'orrible  end of hour!

Hello all - I'm in again. Was a bit behind all last week but wasn't too bad in the end. DS was coming on Sat, which inspired me to make a massive final effort, but already the place is a bit of a tip again. So, I'm in again please, but probably won't have much time to check in. Just off to do my 2nd HHC of the day, then lunch, then go to see DH in his nursing home.

Must fit some sewing in somewhere - making an embroidered diary cover for DD3's b'day tomorrow, and know it won't get finshed. I have a nice A3 size diary to fit in it, so may just have to wrap that up with a promissary note before I go over to see her in Cheltenham tomorrow! (And, am going to WI tonight - belly dancing! - so no evening sewing time.)

Nursing home visits seem to take up so much of my time - of course I want to see DH, as apparently he wanders around looking for me and gets very unsettled and agitated until I come, but people are telling me it's OK to cut down to every other day. I don't know - but actually am going away next week for 5 nights in France, and I do think he'll be all right then. Might be the time to cut down a bit - I'll have to see.

Sorry I've waffled - must HHC in the kitchen now!
Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!
