Hi,
on the XP Box righ click on the wireless icon on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen (looks like a little screen with ))) coming out of it. Select view available networks and
1) does it show your network
2) Does it show as Connected to yours
2a) IF not select on connect see what happens
or 2b) if it does and you cannot ping 192.168.1.1 from a command box then go to the other PC and login to your router using IE/Firefox
http://192.168.1.1 and see if in the wireless settings (sorry don't know your routers methods will google in a mo) both PCs are shown as connected Wireless Clients.

I realise this butbut oddly enough my mobile can connect whileXP is using the internet,
but for whatever reason the XP will over ride the net use over vista
This is why I need the XP box connected at the same time as vista and get its ipconfig /all settings . I cannot guess what they are.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
