Hi all
I need help here
at home I have 2 computers and a wifi network thing
the problem i have is when both computers are connected to the internet at the same time only one net connection will work
how can we configure the wifi access so we can both use the internet at the same time ?
there are only 2 computers connected to this wifi network
we are using windows vista and windwos XP and we both have firewalls activated

thanks buddy its talk talk, i thought 2 computers could use the same net connection at the same time ??
so i need to set the IP address to dynamic ?Can they both work separately then, if yes that seems odd because a router should allow both to work same time, unless bother laptops are set for using same IP address rather then the default dynamic IP
how would i do that ta0 -
we have our on one that we use0

Please confirm you have two computers connected (wirelessly?) to a router (not a modem) and each computer has its own (ie, different) IP address.
Can you see both computers from the router config page?
What router are you using?:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -
would be useful if you could find a make+model number on the back of your modem/router too0

On each pc click on the "start" button then run and enter cmd or press the windows key + r on the keyboard and enter cmd
In the window that opens up enter ipconfig and look for the IP address for each pc post them on here and also the default gateway address too4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex .
