Your offer was kind & well intended as was the reminder (though we don't all do as we are told), no need to worry.0 -

Hi, I'm new to the board but have been lurking for a while:hello:. I just wanted to thank you all for such inspiring crafting. I tend to catch up on posts and ideas in the middle of the night, after feeding my baby, when I can't get back to sleep!
I've been collecting a couple of ideas and am ready to start making a few things in the evenings mainly as gifts rather than to sell!
This evening is the first in a long time that I've got crafty! My bargain gift for part of my god-daughters birthday present-cupcake facecloth-she's about to turn 5 and loves pink and cake!
The last 50p pink fluffy face cloth from Dunelm Mill, rolled into a cupcake.
Have used a red sparkly star hairband(pack of 4 reduced from Sainsbury's) for the 'cherry'.
Made my own cupcake wrapper using an orange, pink and lime design sheet of scrap book paper(29p, reduced, from Hobbycraft)
Wrapped in cellophane(have had a roll for ages that is always great for gifts so FREE!)
Tied with lilac curly ribbon(500 metre ree, not been used, found in the charity shop-99p!)
I know a few of you are making the cupcakes-the wrapper was really easy to make. I played around with a few templates I made online but in the end they didn't work so created my own. If anyone wants to know I'm happy to try and explain!
I just wanted to share really-I feel so relaxed for just an hour of 'tinkering' :T! Intending to make the round mint chocolates to hang on our tree and the hot chocolate spoons.
My idea for my husbands present from the kids is inspired by the pint glasses mentioned on here-have some glass paints I haven't used for a while, so will add a logo and 'Daddy's a Genius' to a glass. Then fill with Maltesers, topped with the Milkway 'nuggets' to create his own pint of Guiness!:D
As well as Christmas I have my son's birthday approaching. He's having a Mr Tumble party! I'd already decided to make the sour cream cartons to fill with sweets, after seeing them online ages ago. Have got some jellybeans from Aldi and will split them into small amounts to make little bags of Mr Tumbles Jumping Beans!
Anyway enough wittering from me-just wanted to say a big thank you reallyand to 'de-lurk'.
