  • I posted on the craft fair bestsellers thread, but will repeat here - I had my first stall at my son's school fair yesterday. I sold £70 of makes in 4 hours, despite small amount of snow. My best seller was also the dog biscuits! I sold some of everything I took and got loads of positive comments. I've got two more stalls at my daughters' schools on the next two weeks so hopefully will sell the rest of the edible stuff before Christmas :) I did try and take pics of the stall, but had camera issues. Will try harder next week!

thanks to all the hints, tips and encouragement on here - couldn't have done it without you guys :)
  • I apologise that I have been a bit vague about cello bags for sweetie bags - as I usually cut down bags I already have to fit a topper.

But I have finally got myself in gear ......

The best cello bags for sweetie bags with toppers measure 3 x 5 inches and are available from the same lady as I get my pretzel bags from, they cost £1.99 for 50 plus £1 P & P – which I reckon is a pretty good price (I also use these bags to put my wish bracelets and other jewellery in)

I like to put about 50 - 60 grams of sweets in my bags and these are perfect.

I will put a link to this site on on my homepage for easy reference as this thread is getting a bit long to search for items now.

    Hi everyone,

The parent came home at 4.30 so I literally JUST got home and out the door again to do the stall. Wish I hadn't bothered though because I didn't even make my stall money from Saturday back over two days, so gutting. And I felt really ill, I was awake 34 hours in a row by the time we got home and I'd eaten something. But I have brought in a box of goodies to work and I'm racking up loads of orders, so at least that is something!

  • I am busy today making a lot of things and till now have no photo of what I have but will add some later. I have some snowman's soups in bag and in mug, some pints of socks, some cups of coffee, sweetie mugs, reindeer food, and gift baskets. Will make more nappy cakes and towel cakes, sock cupcakes (as I have only the baby one till now), wash cloth lolies etc.

It's snow everywhere today and the school is closed.
I've managed to make one post it note holder just to try if I can lol and I am pleased with it Just waiting for paper that I've ordered on friday :)

Can anyone tell me what happened with my last post? I can't find it :(

I had a craft fair yesterday, and because of the weather it was terrible. I made about £30, the stall cost me £25!!!

My pint of socks, flannel cupcakes and snowman soup sold well. One lady bought 5 of my cookie cutters!! So I suppose I shouldnt feel too disheartened. Just hoping the fair this weekend goes ahead, and the weather is a bit better.

    Everyone keep their fingers crossed!!!!

To find posts you (or anyone else) have made, click on your username and then 'Find more posts by ' or 'Find all thanked posts by...' It depends what it was about. If it gave a link to your blog or suggested advertising in any way, the Mods on MSE might have deleted it.
