I think they're nice artydoll. I've found from selling my bits over the years that if you can find a niche it really helps. Just be careful when you price them as you don't want to be out of pocket, and remember paypal have fees too...

    artydoll - what a super card :T

dizzytina - you have been busy...........love how you've put the notebook and pens together and your sock monkey is smashing:T

Had a lot of snow today and its been so cold......so I got myself parked at the kitchen table near the radiator and made a couple of 'weather wallys' as joke pressies and a button necklace............2nd attempt at that........last one I nearly threw in the bin..........thank goodness this one turned out ok.
So thats two more little pressies to send off and now OH has got me some wooden pegs I can have a go at a little peg rack/tea towel holder or just memo thing of some sort.
One more old placemat I found I can turn into a kitchen organiser...........more snow forecast this week so can't see me leaving the house
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • Popped into our local 99p store and they were selling packs
of 25 disposable icing bags...they are very strong and would be perfect for filling with sweets!!

Sure they are cheaper than Ebay too :D

Im just finishing off my makes for our school fair on Saturday...will post a pic or 2 on here when Im all done.

Hopefully will sell most of it or people will be getting extra pressies lol
Need more income or less expensive children!!
Trying to slim down in body, mind and clutter....

  • I've posted a pic on my homepage of the latest sock monkey that I've made. It was made for an order I had and is for a baby so has felt eyes. I've a few more to make this week, all by hand sewing!

Hi everyone, still loving this thread!
I'm making a 'Christmas Eve Stocking' for my niece and nephew, full of the ingredients for a wonderful christmas eve. Already got fleecy all in one pj's, a 'Grow your own' Christmas tree/snowman, Christmas DVD and I'm going to put a snowman soup, reindeer food and Santa key in too. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to anything else I could put in?
I've also had snow days this week due to the huge amounts of snow/ice at work and the boiler being broken so I've had lots of time to finally get things made! I haven't worked out how to post picture yet but I've made:
    Reindeer Food,
    Snowman Soup,
baubles (using the clear baubles from £land and artificial snow)adapted some baubles from £land,
    magic Santa keys
    and many many Christmas cards!
Quite pleased with my little self :)
  • Can someone tell me how much they are charging for the elizabeth shaw mints tree decorations please,

I have made sets of 4 plus sets of 4 choc coins decorations and havent got a clue on how much to charge

    Thankyou
