anyone got a suggestion on something we could make for nursery aged kids, instead of cards, no chocolate, i liked the christmas wish bracelets however dont know how safe they would be with the kids.

My son's reception class are making twig stars, tie or glue 5 twigs to form a star shape and then go mad with the glitter.

    Some more ideas on here

Well done :T Can I be nosey and ask you for prices on everything you sold :o I don't think I've over priced my items but it's good to compare :D

    You surely can -
    Reindeer Face Cloths £2.25
Princess and Cheeky Monkey smoothie cups £2.50
Snowman soup (with whisk and candy cane attached) £2
cupcakes - sock and face cloth - £2
    Reindeer food 50p
    Bags of sweets 50p
Elf walking sticks £1 - 8 mini canes in a bag

Also took glow sticks £1 a pakc only sold handful, the perfect man gingerbread with two in - sold only a couple 50p - the most expensive (!?) stuff went better to be honest -

I am going to send out some samples to rid me of the rest now - I wont have any time to make a mass before xmas now what with kids/work/xmas shopping - Ill just keep my hand in with small things for me and gifts no fayres!
  • oh my............*puff* *pant* Finally managed to make it to the end of the thread, been following for the last couple of months, I keep stopping everytime i see something I like and make a few, so as you can imagine i was fairly slow at getting through it! Congratulations to all the makers who have shared their stuff here, none of mine is good enough to sell....yet. But i have had immense amounts of fun, completely impressed my OH and definately been bitten by the crafting bug! Lets keep it going in to the new year! oh please oh please oh please! :-)

My kids school decorate baubles, they get some from the pound shops etc and put glitter and things on them, they look lovely on the tree.

Sorry to sound dumb but can anyone tell me how to make the Elizabeth Shaw Christmas decorations, i would like to be able to hang them on the tree?

    Thanks in advance

I am so sorry about the size of my photos. I haven't used photobucket for ages and must have missed the bit about resizing them

Can anyone recommend a good black gel pen for writing on my bag toppers. The papermania one I have is rubbish! It either delivers too much ink and smudges or doesn't deliver enough and I have to go over it again.

My boyfriend is going to go to Hobbycraft for some felt tomorrow and asked me for a list of things he needs to buy.......:D...... Is he stupid! Ask me for a list of things from Hobbycraft and he'll be there all day!! :rotfl:

Mine is the Uni-ball Signo (scented Cola flavour too LOL) - it's a lovely pen, writes fantastic. Most stationers will stock them :D

They are two sets of punches, a scalloped one and a plain circle. The plain circle is decorated and then stuck to the larger scalloped one. This is then stuck to one side of the mint. Then taking the plain circle punch cut another piece of paper or card and this is where I attach my thread for hanging. I stick double sided tape to the foil, loop the thread and stick the ends over the tape before attaching the paper on top.
I hope that makes sense :o
