Just had a mailing with dates for the Christmas Shopping Events (28/10/10 for Stirling) and it's going to be 1200 points this year (wasn't it 1000 last year?) :j

Yay! I've never gone as I never spend that much at boots at one go, but this year I'm saving up lots of little things I want and a few gifts to get and will do it all on the shopping evening -- hope to beef up my points as much as possible!0 -

I suspect it will be the same as last year, the bog standard points plus 1000 extra to make up 1200. I remember lots of conversations about would it be 1200 plus the ordinary ones...
looking forward to them.0 -
i'm going to the one in falkirk on wednesday 27th october. Can't remember about the points though, I think its your spend points plus 1000 extra which gives you 1200. Usually 4 points per £1 spent, so that would make sense. Nonetheless i can't wait. Hopefully they'll have the soap and glory on offer of the week too.0

I've just read the small print and you're right - it's a total of 1200 points awarded when you spend £50. Sorry!! Though they also sent me a 1000 points code if spend £100 online which I think I should be able to use on the day - going to be online event 27th & 28th Oct0 -
I thought it was 1200 (for £50 spend) last year- or was I just lucky?! Didn't take up last years offer as they reduce it in bits to half price just before Xmas which was enough for me to consider friends and family. But hope you all have a good time!0

I haven't had an email from Boots though I'm registered on their site and I use an advantage card. Is it something you have to sign up for specially?
Sorry, I misunderstood. I'll keep an eye out for a letter!0 -

i got mine through the post - no email as such yet. coupons are: £3.50 worth of points for £40 spend ; double points (2 uses); £4.50 worth of points for a £50 spend; 200 points when buying max factor xperience boutiqu foundation or mascara; £3 off any sanctuary spa facial skincare product, 1000 points for £100 spend - online only; and Save £5 when spending £30 or more in single transaction on electrical beauty products. Not sure how many i'll use though, as you usually can't use them in conjuction with the promotions for event evenings and unlikely to spend that amount of money outwith the event evenings, Definitely use the double points one for sure. we'll need to see about the rest - depends if we get a good OOTW.. hee hee0

Hi guys, does anyone know when the OOTW on xmas gifts starts, I can't remember. I'm really looking forward to it, got some great pressies for family and friends last year and ended up with the lovely S&G hatbox from DH.
