If you want a brand new Nokia 6630 with 3, try this...

    http://www.phoneboxdirect.co.uk

They have loads of great deals (mostly FREE 12 month line rental)

If you don't want to go through the cashback route, ring 3 retentions dept as they normally give good deals.

I have just renewed my contract with 3. I cancelled my contract at 11 months (1 month notice) as the deal wasn't good enough (I was offered 12 months 1/2 price on a 12 month contract).

Whilst looking for my next phone contract I recieved a call from 3 saying that they would like to keep me as a customer so would I be interested in 11 months free???? I said I would be interested if it was 11.5 months free, and the lady said fine :)

I get a new 6233 (2 year guarantee) plus 500 minutes and 100 texts and I only give them £15 for the whole year (If I don't go over on my minutes)!

There is no cashback, they credited £345 on to my 3 account instantly!

The lady I spoke to said that when a customer cancels their contract they are offered an upgrade offer which is good BUT if the customer does not accept the upgrade then the customer is contacted again just before they leave, in the final month and are offered a SUPER offer!

The lady I spoke to said that it will be the same next year also!

I hope this helps someone :)

Hi all, have an o2 contract that expires in a few weeks and while surfing around phoneboxdirect has caught my eye, their '12 month free on a 12 month contract' seems too good to be true!

So what is the catch, i assume that you still pay for the contract with the provider then PBD send you a cashback in the post if you fill in the correct forms etc.

So does it work? Can you get 12 months free phone usage.

    Your comments would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Ben

Boy you are hard bargainer, basically you have free line for next 11.5 months, now that is called money saving.

    That's sweet.

I have the same contract with is ending on 15 Nov, so I am about to phone them.

Just wondered when you rang, did you ask them to cancel your contract or convert your number to PAYG before they made you the offer?
