Hi,
I was having a think about Christmas and I am going to post a card to all my customers nearer the time. I was just wondering if anyone usually gives small presents or treats to customers. I have 27 customers, but I will probably only give something to ones that order a lot/regularly. I was thinking about putting a few chocolates in with their order, or giving them a free wrapped gift, like bubble bath. Is anyone else doing anything similar?M May11 55886.810 -

No joy - over 4 years of selling their stuff and they can't do me one little favour in return, first time I've ever asked. Cue strongly worded email to avon whilst I'm cross!
Then I check my invoice for my main order which has just come available - under items unavailable I get:
1 Country Rose Doggie Door StopSorry. Not available at present. Please try again when next in Brochure
This should have been delivered 2 campaigns ago and last two invoices have said not to re-order and it would be sent when available.
I hate avon!
I know how you feel, they did the exact same thing to me with the flip-flops and the customer hasn't ordered since!M May11 55886.810 -
Hi, everyone. I was told this by my ASM the other day so I'm not sure if any of you know that you can do this. If you are a Nectar Reward(Sainsburys) card holder, you can collect points via Avon. If you go onto the Nectar website, Collect Points, then click on Avon, it takes you to the Avon website and you can then log in as a Rep. I have done it for the first time today. I don't think it can differentiate between us as Reps and a customer :j Until 29th October they are offering 4 points for every £1 spent0

Hi, I have ordered some of the shower gels for 75p out of C16 and am going to wrap them for my regular customers ie more than 3 orders then the others I am going to give some samples(as suggested by someone on here earlier on in the thread) and I have my daughter crafting cards0 -
Are the ASM's really under that much pressure Aureol? Is the pay up to the job??
As for territory: what if all reps were to submit the names and addresses of the customers on their territory? That way, if the rep decides she no longer wants to canvass and just keep the customers she has collected, they could be considered her F&F. Then when a new rep has been assigned the area, she is informed NOT to canvass those addresses? Unless of course the previous rep stops completely - in which case the addresses are passed to the new and existing rep? I really can't see what the issue is. I realise that some reps put in big orders and some ASM's/SL's might be nervous of losing them, but the business can be picked up by another rep anyway - so no one loses out?
This surely would go some way to stop feuding reps, which can only be bad for the AVON brand?
My ASM seems like a nice enough girl but reluctant to tackle the situation head on. The existing rep seems to wield an awful lot of weight. But if I take one of her customers (which I could have quite easily done this morning) because she hasn't the good grace to return my calls, just to let me know which addresses are 'hers', then whose fault is that?
From now on, if I do take one of her customers, she won't be getting them back. I've spent so much flippin time on this.0 -
Having a bad day today!
Feeling generally very tired and think I've probably got PMT! Just changed internet providers and having trouble with the connection already! Went into town to pay in my Avon money and 1 cheque and my bottle of water had leaked all over it, so have brought it back to dry off!
But to top it all, just made a complete numpty of myself in front of a customer (first order too!) I did most of my deliveries on Monday, but she asked if I could deliver Thursday. First mistake - forgot to take any change, apart from some pound coins I already had. She didn't have the right money, so I said not to worry about the few pence. Then I got confused because she tried to give me extra (long story) and she explained how much I had to give her back. I said "I'll pop it through the door when I'm passing" regarding the change, but she looked at me blankly and as I went to merrily march off down the path, she said "can I have my stuff please?"
Came away, feeling a complete idiot, then later realised that in the confusion of her giving me extra, I owed her over £2! I'd also forgotten to take her a book, so put the money in with the book, in an envelope with "Sorry for the confusion, I'm having a bad day" on the front.
Hmm, wonder if she will order from me again0 -

if this works, and I don't think it will, as we are not purchasing anything until we are billed by avon, and then there are returns, I wish I had known about it yesterday!0 -

I have no idea, and not sure if it works.
Have you registered online for your nectar card? You can log in at anytime to see how many points you have and you can register for mailings.0 -

Oh! I do feel for you - had that scenario SO many times
It doesn't help that I have discalculea (sp?) which is like dyslexia with numbers, so the minute I have to give change my brain freezes  I used to calculate the probable change before I knocked on the door!
I've also forgotten to give the customer the goods on a number of occasions - don't worry, they just think you're human (I hope)
