RE PARTIES
I put up a blog on the avon connects web site. Successful parties i think i called it. Much much the same, but lots of detail.
Sorry I cant be more precise, I hate the site and long for the old forum.
Connects is pants!!:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -
Hi lucyclare
is it ok to link to your blog from the first page, where I have the links about Avon parties please?0 -
Does anyone know what the wording is on the following SL stationery:
- Prospecting Card (I think I might have some of these. Are they the pink folded over ones with a close-up of someone's eyes on the front?)
- General contact card
- Brochure has expired card
I also have some Outspoken by Fergie cards that have her on the front, and "Earn extra money, choose your own hours etc..." on the back. It has a space to put my details. Does anyone know what type of cards these are?
I've confirmed that I want to be a SL to my ASM and she's dropped over some cards, but I haven't signed anything yet. I think my business kit is coming with my next delivery. Do you need to sign anything extra to become a TSL? When will my website change to the SL one? Can I order SL stationery when I'm a TSL?
Also, someone on Connects said F+F reps only have to put in an order every 90 days (or something like that - it wasn't every campaign). Is this true?
Thanks for any help you can give. I know there's a lot of Qs there!
I've asked on Connects about wording and things because someone said you needed to have posters approved by Avon, taking 6-8 weeks, but on the other hand people were doing their own flyers and putting up cards in shops. Bit confused. I've asked about what is and isn't allowed on there before and didn't get an answer so my thinking is, unless someone from legal screams "NO!!!!" I'm going to do it. I doubt they're going to find out about an A5-sized flyer pinned up in a shop in a village.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I think my hubby has decided to help as he can see that it earns him some money. He also likes doing exercise, so he either walks or cycles to his roads. Normally he wouldn't help and originally he was just going to do F & F, but I planted the idea of territory into his head and he decided to go for it. I think the elder ladies like having a young man deliver their Avon bits! He goes in to their houses and gets cups of tea and biscuits!DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Yes. They go on about Avon, and if you are interested in signing up, to contact... and you put in your contact details.
- General contact card - think this is the same,
- Brochure has expired card - this brochure is expired but if you would like to see a current book or become a rep contact me.

yes, you have to sign a new agreement saying you want to be an SL. your ASM should bring it.
Yes, you can order stationery. Think when you are accepted by Avon as TSL, you get new account.

think you are only allowed to use the word Avon in capital letters when printing flyers, you have to put Independent Avon Representative, or Independent Sales Leader. You are not supposed to use their logos, etc.
See, I am surprised people on Connect are not being more helpful. unless like me, the ones in the knowledge aren't bothering because it is so rubbish.
Ah, someone you could ask, GailsAvon. She is quite good. She has been doing it for a while, or is it Gailsreps? She is one of those that has done well through avon. She will know about the advertising.0 -

Is that right about reps only doing f&f only having to put an order in every 90 days? I have not heard that before and would like to do every other campaign after Christmas.Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.0 -

I don't know about that, but I know when DH signed up, he was getting contacted every campaign, despite saying he was only doing F&F, asking why he wasn't putting an order in.
Although I remember MarsdenCuckoo saying something about F&F. Will have to have a look through the old thread.0
