So you answer the blooming door! No, I don't answer doors in this house!
My answer? don't put the heating on. He can blooming well put clothes on! Only if it is still really cold, I will put it on.
LOL! The bit about the door made me giggle!
For extra warmth I also have a cat on my knee!!!0 -
For extra warmth I also have a cat on my knee!!!
I have a cat and I think it's the other way around - they use us for warmth. Mine's such a tart. If the heating is on it's warmer upstairs or next to the radiator in the living room (if she can't be bothered to go upstairs). She's nowhere to be found while OH and I are sitting downstairs. As soon as the central heating's off and it's cooled down she appears and wants to be on one of our laps.
Aureol - good luck Avoning full-time! It's great when you can make a decision about something and get on with things, say something's not going to stress you out any longer.I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for.I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.

I am excited this evening. Hubby has just been out to collect his books and although he only has two orders out of 8 books that he put out, one order is for £71 and the other is for £24. So that is MOV got in just two orders.:j He has to go back for one on Monday as the lady was still looking at it, and another lady normally emails if she has an order. I think even Hubby is getting into doing Avon now. He is now prepping books to go out tomorrow morning.DD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

OH dear ...
Plant Spa Face Mask Gift Set - Important Information
Through Avon’s rigorous quality assurance procedures it has been detected that there has been a mistake in the filling of one of the products in the Planet Spa Face Mask Gift Set. The Planet Spa Japanese Sake & Rice Smoothing Face Mask sachets actually contain Planet Spa Japanese Sake & Rice Body Polish & Wash. The product included in this sachet is perfectly safe and has been manufactured in line with Avon’s high standards and can be used safely as a Body Wash.
As the Body Polish & Wash contains different ingredients to the Face Mask and as we know that it’s important for some of our customers to avoid using certain ingredients to which they may be sensitive, as a precaution we ask you to immediately destroy all the products in the gift set.
We will be sending you a replacement complete Planet Spa Face Mask Gift Set as soon as stock is available. We are confident this will be before Christmas and will keep you updated via the Representative website.
Avon apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and remains committed to delivering a high quality service to our valued Representatives and customers.
I think, Avon, that you are referring to Planet Spa, not Plant Spa.
I have ordered one of these from HT as it looked nice, however the box it turns up in is not as nice as the one in HT and pretty disappointing so it was going back anyway!! Think I'll hold off though for a bit to see if the nicer box turns up in the replacement ...0 -
they go on and on about how it is totally safe as a body wash, only to tell you to 'immediately DESTROY all products in the gift set'! Are they nuts? how wasteful.
I think it is a case of "destroy all", we will send you a replacement. If you personally choose not to destroy and use them and have no side effects whatsoever....0 -

my husband humours me. he certainly would never want to do avon himself, or get involved in any way, but he lets me display a brochure in his office near the waiting table and he tolerates me going on and on about how great the products are.but i'm very lucky, as he is a sweetie pie about basically everything.
On another note, i got my order today, which included quite a few things i bought for myself as well, because the deals in c16 were so nice and loads of things in there were versions of products i normally buy from Boots anyway. To my amazement, I actually like ALL of the items better than the ones i normally buy! The face, hand and body cream (avon care) that comes in the big plastic tub (£1.33 in c16) is basically a spin-off of Nivea Soft (which costs about £6.50). I tried it and like it much better, so i am going to attempt to backorder it in this campaign at the bargain price.
And i can't say enough good things about the rest of the products I got. My husband laughed at me this evening after my shower - I came out of the bathroom smelling like a giant Avon factory. I think I must have tried on every single product I ordered for myself!! I couldn't help it, it all looked so nice!
The Glazewear clear lipgloss with spf15 feels and looks amazing... the Anew Rejuvenate night cream is FABULOUS (my skin looks/feels immensely better already and it's only been on my face for an hour!!), the Footworks callus cream smells like peppermint and feels luscious, the mango shampoo+conditioner (only 75p for me!) smells like candy and works very well, and the Lotus shield softened/smoothed my hair instantly and is nicely scented without being overpowering.
Sooooo now i have quite a few things to rave about to potential customers, AND I am saving loads of money plus being much happier with my daily products! :T:j0
