i wonder... if we return items that we bought for ourselves.. and by returning them, we end up going below the HOV or MOV for that campaign (even though we would have been above it at the time we ordered!) does avon penalize us for that? do they say we have to give all our commission back because the items we are returning are ours and not a customer's?

Nope - because returns are not taken into account for you hitting MOV / HOV, you could place a £200 order, return £60 worth of stuff and you would still get HOV as returns don't affect your earning level - as A said, they only affect your sales figures for PC.

Has anyone else received the Skin So Soft Luminous Pearls Gift Set?
Mine came today but was in a black bag and not the pretty white one with the pearl zipper as shown in the booklet.

Pretty disapointed and not sure that my neighbour will like the look of it - don't think it goes with the items at all.

Of course I shall tell her she can return it, but shame Avon didn't let me know there might be a change.

    Oh well .....

    :(

yes I think unfortunately there must be problems with the advertised bags - some one on facebook said they'd had theres being "to follow, delivery in C18"!!!!!!!!!

So on the plus side - at least its been delivered with a bag! I've had loads of orders for these, so if I get the black bags, which seems likely - I'll just that unfortunately avon can no longer get the originaly advertised bag, so they have sent this smart looking bag as a replacement. should do the trick - most people will hate returning items!

Have decided I am going to ask for more territory and give up work and go back to trying to make Avon work for me. have been juggling who is going to look after my son while i work and getting him there and different people picking him up, etc, and it is ridiculous!

:j Go for it A!

I've ordered the invitations, my friend is doing manicures, and my other friend is going to help me with cooking some food.

I need to sit down and work out what to order, especially with having 2 in one week and another shortly after!

Right then, make sure you have all of the following:

    Mirror
    Wet wipes
    cotton wool buds
    cotton wool
    nail varnish remover
    lots and lots of biros
    raffle tickets (tesco)
Plenty of books and order forms
Display area (clear everything else away)
Good lighting, check for replacement bulbs
loads of seating (theyll spend more that way)
If you dont have a lot of full size perfumes, then get some business cards, fold them in half. write on name of fragrance from sample and put some on the card. It will stand up like a place name setting. Finally, get some blue tack and stick the sample inside the card, so if they want to try it on theyre skin, you havent got to go squinting through piles of tiny glass vials!

Make sure you get loads and loads of yummy smelling things and forcibly go round saying, 'try this, it smells *************'
once one says 'oohhhh' 'aaahhhhh', you will see a little parade of arms or writs all wanting a go and not to be left out.

Display your raffle prize prominently and again, card saying £1 a go.
Get your raffle money in early.

anything else, just drop me a line :):A

Lucyclare that is a fab list of hints for a party. Think I might have a party at my house just before Christmas to encourage people to buy their Christmas presents from me. Thanks very much.
