  • Oh dear, my delivery was meant to be coming tomorrow, but now it isn't because of the weather. Really annoyed with myself as I've done nothing for C1 and my orders due next week, so I was thinking I could just give books to my regulars along with their orders when I was going to deliver tomorrow but now I won't be!!

It should be the day the courier is delivering, but they may be running further behind so hopefully it should be the following day at The latest.
When they do deliver, if you're in make a note of the name on the side of the van then youll be able go search for their phone number in case you need it in the future.

or just ask the courier for their number. I have 2 different vans turn up with my deliveries but have been given my courier number directly from the courier.

We had rain on saturday so snow all gone now! Had our postie deliver today for the first time since tuesday.

After a great start, never got round to re-canvassing any more houses what with all the snow. For some reason, couldn't be bothered to load up DD on the sledge and take the boys around. I love snow but was fed up with it this time. Looking at the longer range forecasts I will be keeping plenty of essentials around as we aint out of the woods yet! Our supermarkets are still out of all bread except freshly made on premises yet we've probably had the least snow (south east).

Anyway, off to collect a dozen or two brochures tomorrow then that's it for brochures til jan, order going in on tuesday night. Will need to do deliveries, deliver cards and pressies to my best customers then no more Avon til next year!!!

I feel awful but have to go to work as desperately need money for Jan. Am doing a bit of networking which is why I am still up, am going to check my nectar account, but I don't think it worked.

Money Maker - know what you mean about bread - husband went to ASDA and said people were going crazy. For stuff in general but the bread was all gone. Thing is, main roads are all clear around here and I've noticed people in the village who live down small roads are just parking on the clear roads and walking a little way to their houses.

Mixed delivery. 15 not left out out of 42 houses, so nearly a third. It was the usual suspects, though, and some are coming to the end of their run of brochures with me if they're not interested. I put "this is your last brochure unless you tell me otherwise" notes in.

Good news, one person said she was interested even though she'd never read a brochure and that was going to be her last one. She got it from work but for some reason is happy to switch to me now.

Slightly good news, everyone else who was on their last brochure have said nothing so that's them off the list. Feels good to know for sure I'm dealing with interested people from now on.

Bad news, lost a good customer because they've moved. I hope they're still in the area and get in touch. I would have told them I could still serve them, but had no idea until someone else answered the door. They're not interested.

Orders have come in from the usual people but C1 total looks to be around £250 so far. I'll be happy with that at other times of year but was hoping for a repeat of C18 since this is still a pre-Christmas brochure.

I didn't see this, but husband came with me on a delivery and said the people from the house next door (we were between two semis) were all peeking through the curtains (it was after dark) at us, like this was the strangest form of entertainment in the world. I'd have canvassed this house in the past and they must have said no because I don't drop to that house. He said they were all pressed up against the glass gawping :rotfl:
I used to have my Avon turnover (sales) here. They've been removed because it's not appropriate to talk about those kinds of sales as if they're realistic for a new Rep to aim for. :( I signed up at the right time, right place, and was very lucky.
  • Wow sounds like the weather is causing some of you real bother! :( We have no snow here, was a bit icy yesterday but nothing more than that.

I'm a bit stuck and after some advice/ help.
The stall that I was supposed to be doing tomorrow isnt going ahead now.
My order for c.1 is due in wednesday and I havent even delivered the orders from c.18 yet as the came on Tuesday and I havent been able to drive for the last 2 weeks. Its all f&f so not a biggy as far as customers are concerned but obviously I need to pay really soon. I am happy to pay for the orders my family got cos I know they will pay. But what do I do about the things I ordered for the stall..? I dont really want to do returns on them yet because I was thinking of doing a FB sale to see what I could shift. I looked at the credits bit on Avon but having never done them, or been shown them, I dont really know how to go about it the right way under my circumstances. Would you put reason 52? And do I just put that in and leave the quantity returned blank for now as Im not wanting to send them back?
    Thanks in advance :)
  • You would have to put in a quantity when you do the credits. But as far as I understand it if you don't return they simply recharge you for it later.
