Talking of planet spa face mask set, has anyone else actually seen these yet? When they arrived with my delivery I was so disappointed. Have had to explain to customers that the presentation is rubbish and they can return if they want. It's one small battered box with lots of little ones that are supposed to fit inside. Nothing like the picture and almost impossible to make look presentable! BTW, no ones returned one yet.

there is a disclaimer in very small print under it, saying the presentation box sent may not be the same as the picture shown.

Quick question (apologies if it's been answered dozens of times already).
If a customer returns an item that contributed to receiving an offer, then does the offer item need to be returned also.
I am talking about the offers when you spend X and then qualify for a cheap item.

I would say no. Because it is not a free gift if they purchased x item, that is supposed to be returned.

This was an item purchased at a discount due to them purchasing a higher priced item, so do not see why they would need to return it.

Hi I am new to all this this is the first time i have posted to any network so forgive me if i get it wrong

i am a rep with avon (about 9 months now) and thinking of becomeing a sales leader but when i look at the people earning the money i can see that they all have websites but i have heard that you cant have them anymore? but loads of people do seem to have them how does it work and what happens if you just go ahead and create one

my sales leader avoids the question

    help confused

SL can have the Avon one, but you can only have the Avon one when you have tagged 5 reps into your team. SL are not supposed to have any other website promoting Avon. Before the rule was brought in certain high earning reps did have their own websites and it has been agreed they be allowed to carry them on.

As A says, unless you already had an approved website (back when Avon used to allow people to make their websites & get their legal team to approve them) then we have to have the official Avon ones. At the moment they are free though which is good, if you click on my name, I think I've got my website added to my profile so you can take a look - we can alter the colours, some of the graphics (theres set ones to choose from) and we can write our own bit on the "my story" bit - though obviously it can't be anything rididiculous (earn a million by being a rep etc).

As for just going ahead and making one - if you do this, you run the risk of having your avon account closed - you wouldn't be able to be a rep, nor a sales leader, and so you'd loose all your future potenial earnings - much better to just stick to the offical ones.

    Oh What a morning.
Been knock at door's to see if anyone would like a Avon book. Out of 57 doors 2 people wanted a book, 7 NI & 6 buys else where. :O(.
Dont know weather to just leave avon books at each house or carry on knocking & leaving a leaflet to say I have called if you like a avon book please call me.

I'd go with delivering brochures to the houses that didn't respond - I'm assuming no-one was in - you'll be surprised, yes you might loose a few, but you don't usually loose too many. When you first start on a territory, if you just deliver leaflets it might not get you customers - if the last rep messed them about a lot, then the fact that you "couldn't be bothered to deliver a brochure" (there thoughts) will probably mean they won't contact you. To recanvass I deliver expired brochures with a leaflet attached asking them to contact me. It works - but - possibly only because some of those people know that I've delivered & collected brochures in the past, so they know if they ask for a brochure that they won't get messed about. I have to admit I do it this way now, as I'm doubtful that I'll get many new customers so it saves me wasting my time, although it has picked me up a few (3 this campaign, who've spent £38 between them) - presumably there rented houses and new people moved in without us noticing.

  • Can anyone give me some help as i am not sure how to do this, I have to put through my c18 on monday however i have divided my area so that i do half and half ie c18 and c17, i have been looking at my next order date for c1 (which would be c18 too) which is 20th dec for del 23rd which means I have to del on 24th incase anyone has xmas presents and as c18 is the christmas book i think this may be cutting it fine. can i put through an early order for c1 and would this be delivered earlier? if i can will i still get commission if i hit MOV? i have quite a few customers at work too and my last day is 21st so its not much good for them either.
    hope this makes sence

Yes it does make sense - and no unfortunately you can't get your delivery any quicker. If you did an additional order, you'd need to put it in up to 2 weeks before xmas to stand any chance of a pre-xmas delivery, which doesn't help.

Personaly your best bet is to say orders from this next brochure is delivered after xmas - if people know you're delivering xmas eve they probably won't order (lots of people won't be in) - and do your deliveries on the 27th say. I know its an xmas brochure - but I have half of my territory on back order, so they always get an xmas brochure after xmas, the mothers day book after mothers day - and noone has ever questioned it so don't worry.

i started on c17 but ended up combinding c16 and c17 together as was given the wrong order dates, so i am now on c18 would you class this as 2nd or 3rd campaign? sorry if it seems so obvious!
