My gas supplier sent me a replacement meter box key free of charge, all I did was ask
Bare feet and PJ vest tonight, not at all cold but expecting a change tomorrow with strong winds forecast0 -
OH was complaining he was cold earlier and that he thinks he's needs a onesie :rotfl: so have chucked a blanket over him and ordered us a onesie each. Maybe we'll be able to keep the heating off until November at this rate.0

Caved in and put it on earlier this evening, just felt all damp and cold. I would have been tempted to tough it out in my younger days but just too many health problems me and the OH to be in the cold.
Just have to do without something else to pay for it I guess.0 -
I'm in the North East. I've had my heating on for short bursts this week. Temperature in living room had dropped to 17 degrees. Also got my fleece tops out though. Have got fleece jackets and nightwear. Have got a fleece under sheet for the bed but that's not on yet. Made broth yesterday to put in freezer. I had pneumonia last year so conscious of not getting too cold or wet. Was going to go to the GNR today but heavy rain and winds.0

Living room is 17.3 today. Still off, I am wearing a bodywarmer, its surprisingly quite effective. I have never owned one before but spotted it in charity shop and thought I'd give it a try.
Also going to treat myself to a couple of those all in one pjs you can get, my son has some and he always looks very cosy.0 -
19 degrees in our house so no sign of heating. How low do you allow your thermostat to get before you all consider pressing the button?0
