No central heating (yet) but have put the gas fire on tonight. My feet feel so cold at the moment it's almost painful walking:cry: Think that's because of our laminate flooring. Definitely getting carpet before next winter.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

No heating on here and no one has mentioned feeling chilly. We havent even put the gasfire on. It was a bit cold in bed last night, we have still got the summer duvet on but DH was on the nightshift and he's home tonight so hoping it'll be warmer;)

  • Nope, and I have to say it's a bit cold up here. I've put extra jumpers on me instead and my little one is at his over-heated childminders house during the day :D

  • Mine's on but only for 1/2 hour in morning....think of all the money we can save and help the environment if we resist :j
  • Not yet put the heating on, am just about to do some ironing so that'll keep me warm for a while.
I have put a throw over the bed, but will be topping that up tonight with a hot water bottle for my toes.
DH was moaning it was cold when I got in from work earlier and looked longingly at the central heating thermostat, but as he was dressed in just jeans and a t-shirt he decided more layers would be a better option, once I suggested it.

I've not put our heating on yet though last night had to put the winter duvet on top of the summer lighter one, though we kicked it off in the night. I hate being too warm in bed so never use flannelette sheets, just cotton ones. I also don't like being hot on a morning (probably cos I get up so late for work that all the rushing about makes me so hot) so don't put the heating on in the morning until end November/December.
