I still have the air con on low in the living room in the evenings and put it on in the bedroom for 20 min before I go to bed to warm the room to 16C0

Off. I tried keeping track how many days I kept it off a week but lost track. Consumption has plummeted which is more important. Winter bill conspired to cost the same as last winter despite price drops and switching.0

Thermostat currently bust so does what it wants!! Usually wake up roasting but the flat is freezing when I get home from work. Must fix it but worried about the repair bill![STRIKE]Saving for a deposit on a flat[/STRIKE]

I've had heat off for about a week, but it'll be on again tonight - just read a post from Mardatha on another thread - there is horizontal snow in Scotland folks :eek: !!! Phwoar, makes me shiver just thinking about it. Today so far we have had rain hailstones thunder & lightning, snow forecast for next few days - what happened to spring???:(When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on :eek:
