    Carrie, we have had more snow than we had for years - and we get a lot of it every winter ! I had to dig the cat out AGAIN, he was stuck in his box mewin his head off with a wall of snow blocking him in lol ! The forecast today says "light snow showers near the coasts".....well we are well inland and we had constant heavy snow since I got up at half 8 !! :) It's a goo djob I like snow eh...:)
  • mine is on - it comes on for about 90 mins in the morning, and from 6.30pm until 10pm - and it's set to 17.5c
    My bedroom temp thing read 10c the other night - brrrr!!

    No snow here in west country just rain.Got heat on very low and blanket over legs it's not to bad at all at the moment. Going to get colder ,hope i will still be able to keep heat off during day and low at night .Money is tight OH lost his job and is doing agency work at a quarter of normal money so really need to save where i can.Have been really pleased with how i have managed to reduce heat so far, it should make a differance to the bills :T

    I got a gas [bottle] heater this year , i have a v large room that i sit in , it has been fab . The bottle has been going for over a mt now nice and warm even in the snow ,heating only on for 2 hours in morning .

    I know sometimes it has to go on, like when we had snow

    but now its 0-2 , it really has to go off again, I would love to have it on but £165 a month isnt something I can afford:eek:! risk of chest infections or not!

    tucking in with a hot water bottle..isnt too chilly tonight :o

    We have one of these in the kitchen. It's been a Godsend.

    There's been about two inches this evening. Stopped for the minute, but the sky is quite white.
