Well I have turned my heating down now to just come on for half an hour in the morning and for an hour later on in the evening, mainly for the kids (when they get up and when they have a bath), I'm in the north and its incredibly mild here the last couple of days and I've had the back door open all day!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

Heating has been back on in the last few days as I was feeling really unwell and needed a bit of heat on the old bones (somehow the extra jumper did not manage to cut the mustard this time!).
Now well again thanks God and radiators back off. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Switched mine off in November following a change in circumstances, and apart from a week around Christmas when it got really cold, have only used the boiler to heat water for a shower each day.0

It is so cold today, real autumn chill, thinking about putting the heating on, but resisting, doing lots of houswork instead, can't believe that is the summer over with, not that we had much of one but at least the heating was off and didn't need to use the drier. How is everyone else doing?0

Mine's still off at the moment, which is rather nice: my previous two flats were so cold (the first one) and so damp (the second one) that I had to have the heating on practically all year round. This is my first autumn in my current flat so I don't know when I'm going to need to switch the heating on - at the moment it's so warm inside that I really don't need it yet.Back after a very long break!0

Off, there's a chill in the air but not cold enough for heating for us. Kids still walking around in t shirts, no slippers or socks etc so a few layers to go on before the heating will go on. Loving this autumn sunshine though.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
