  • I'm in the office today so work's paying for the heating I'm currently using.
  • I think I may be getting old, and feeling the cold more. A jumper over my pyjamas, and a woolly hat, and a second hot water bottle.
Just be careful. I managed to burn myself with one a few weeks ago (stupidly took it to bed).

I have been using a heated blanket in bed since then and it has been bliss :) .

I'll be back at the office tomorrow despite being allowed to work from home - that will save me 8 hours of heating use!

Thermostat at home is currently set to 20.5 but I think it actually reads slightly too high. Main bedroom not in use during the day so radiator valve is turned down.

The hall storage heater went on quarter setting last night to try to keep it above 10C before the cold snap starts. I'm really not looking forward to the next few days. As soon as the living room storage heater (on full) loses charge and the room drops to 15C, I'll be retring to the bedroom and my electric blanket.
