Just checked the weather forecast and we're back to minus temperatures from tomorrow for at least another week so my heating will be staying on at 16 during the day and 12 overnight for the forseeable future. I've also got plenty of food in as I'm nervous about falling when it's frosty outside. Stay safe everyone.
Whereabouts are you? I've just looked ahead and we'll be a steady 8-9°C daytime, down to 1-3°C at night.

Today it was 10-11°C but it felt very cold inside.

@Rosa_Damascena, I'm in Norfolk but there is bad weather expected for quite a few areas for the next week.

Southend is relatively shielded as we are on the Thames estuary, we do get snow occasionally but unless its a proper dumping - think Jan 1988 - its melted away after a couple of days.

Nice and sunny today, and I am so looking forward to the summer!

Nice & sunny here too in the Midlands, happy with the weather as it is & not wishing the winter away yet. Still putting the log burner on when needed & very happy with the no energy bills until June thanks to the £400 from the Gov't.

Sunshine heating is not to be underestimated at this time of year , we feel the benefits from 9am of the suns heat & distribute the warm air through the house with fans though the air does start to chill  by 4pm, feeling very spring like indoors & at the top of the garden while the sun stays out.

The sunshine is nice here too ,East Midlands. We don’t have central heating. All electric and a multi fuel burner in our main living room. When the electric heating goes on,it’s cold! So not often ! The burner is every afternoon onwards. We have just lit up. Up until then ,whilst I have been outside,my wife has watched tv with one of those electric powered ‘throws’. She is very comfortable. 😃

Like Auntycaz, we're also in the central heating or no heating group, so ours is still on.  I can see it being on until April at some stage of the day - unless we have an unseasonable mild spell!

Forecast for our region (Yorkshire) for next week is daytime top temperatures between 6 - 8 c and nights -2 - +4c, but dry with sunny intervals.  Our property is partially south facing (bathroom, kitchen and bedroom) and partly west facing (living room) and, since we spend most of our time in the latter, by the time the sun gets round there it's beginning to set, so no benefit there!
