Is your heating ON or OFF?

Heating OFF here today, not even the usual 10 min warm up in the morning, as my boiler is broken!0

Still off, but had the small electric heater on in the living room yesterday, instead of lighting the candles. It was lovely to have one warm room. Not sure how long we can keep going with the cold, but not sure how we will pay the bill if we turn it on! We are trying to hold out as long as possible.0

Still off here, haven't given in to the kids just yet!
17.7 in my living room and 12 degrees in my bedroom, I wish my internal thermometer worked properly as I am not even slightly chilly which means everyone else has to get cold as I hate the heat :mad:0 -
I just switched ours on. I was feeling cold after I took my dogs out this morning.HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

GCH Set to come on at 6 am and I usually turn it off an hour later , I did put it on this arvo as inside temp dropped to 16 degrees , not warm enough to sit in, but a ok temperature if your doing housework........
Will light the open fire in a hours time , as tea time and after we only use one room so no need to heat the whole of the house with GCH.......Flames by the tv at night is so warming ............Its 9 degrees outside and raining now........The damp wet weather makes it feel colder........0 -
I thought we should turn ours on when my 3 y/o was cold before bed last night and in her pjs snuggled in a blanket and my 2 y/o has blue lips at lunchtime today..
Plus if the house gets cold it takes 3-4 days to warm up again.
Nice and dreary outside today and I just didn't bother opening the curtains! I'll have to start making a point of getting outside for short periods for Vit D purposes just not today!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Same here didn't even bother opening curtains, too wet and vile. No vit D today, no daylight to speak of, just grey bleugh.
I hope the whole winter isn't like this, while I dislike the heating bills when it's snowy and freezing, I really hate all this grey wet nothingness, really gets me down.0 -
Still no working boiler..so its off but not intentionally. It's not too cold, although it will be by tonight.0

Has been wet and mild(15c) here in Wiltshire.CH off there's no need to put it on,the LR is 19c and I've got a thick dressing gown on.
Hoping the mild weather will last a bit longer, the wet dull days are depressing but at least it mild.0 -
I haven't turned the heating on again after the one hour yesterday. I've discovered that a good dose of Cajun seasoning in my lunch and dinner helps me keep warm
I do loathe the wet and dreary weather though. I have to go out every day to walk the dog, and we get really muddy. Mutt is getting tired of getting hosed down in the bath after each walk, although she does like the towel game0
