Still off here. No idea how warm/cold our lounge is but it isn't cold enough to put the heating on yet. I want to try and hold out to next week end now.
My secret fantasy is having 2 men....
    1 cooking and 1 cleaning.
  • My living room thermometer currently reads 62.2f, which my calculator says is about 16.8c.

Heating is still off, and door onto landing is open.
  • Heat quite happily still off here, but I did have to give in and put socks on this evening. :D
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
  • Still off here, spend most of my time in office (heat from comps etc keeps me warm). If I am in kitchen gas rings warm us, occasionally use the lounge telly and may put gas fire on for 20 mins but that's it. Utilise dressing gown over clothes as I AM NOT running up another huge bill like last year.......

Will be coming on at 7am. It is -1 here at the moment. South East Northumberland.
  • I gave in last night. I started worrying about the house getting damp.

Only on 3/8 for 2 hours though :o

No heating on at all here. trying to keep it off till the real cold weather sets in.
Just looked, the temp in the SE conservatory is 22C. have learnt to sit in there in the spring and autumn during the day.
Today i have my sewing machine out to do some patchwork from old cotten clothes. Ha, ha sewing the MSE way.

THe front room is north facing and colder. The sun is all out the back here.
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)
  • No heating on here yet....had the gas fire on ;)
  • Currently 61.3f (about 16.3c) in my living room, so still no heating on.

I'm starting to wonder, if I can get to 2014, without turning it on.
  • just put it on to dry the washing :)
