Still off here. Got my thick woolly hiking type socks on and sheepskin slippers on along with a fleece. Determined to keep it off until November. Last years winter bill was astronomical - £600 for 3 months gas and electric. Just can't afford to pay it this year.0

Mines still off and I'm too lazy to get up and close the patio doors.0

Still off. I am now wearing a hoodie but no socks and nowhere near approaching time to get the slanket out so hopefully it'll be a while yet until I need to turn it on.0

CH still off but having the wood burner on most evenings, just a couple of logs mange to remove the chill fom the air and warm the fabric of the house. Hoping to stick to no CH until 1st Nov, see how it goes though, not going to make my family or myself suffer a lot of discomfort! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

Wood burner on last night - mainly burning paper rubbish but it kept the chill off and I will light again later today.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
