  • Loving the Friday wiggle! It seems to be parallel universe Friday here in my office where the world has definitely gone mad - and if IT hasn't, then I have!

Not an NSD yesterday for me as I went to SW and lost 4.5 pounds in a fortnight. No idea where they went, but I bet I'll find them again soon.

Can't decide whether to hold off spending later today and wait until tomorrow when I will be doing the reduced weekly shop, or call at a retail park I will be passing anyway later and have a look at some stuff we might need for half term. In the past I would not have thought twice about shopping on the way to visit MIL and would probably have spent LOADS on unnecessary "stuff". I am really pleased with the way I have already changed my thinking.

Will update later with my decision!

  • Hi all, I just thought I'd pop in so I can join in as of tomorrow accumulating some NSD's, I did this last year and it worked very well but have gone off the bandwagon this year so I need to get back on it so I can save for those special treats and less boring household items when they need repairing.

Hi cookiedough38 and welcome to the NSD challenge/thread/nuthouse/lunatic asylum (delete as appropriate), good to have you on board.

I'll add you to the front page later - do you want to set yourself a target for the rest of the month or keep your own totals - just let me know. Either way, please feel free to join in with the chat/general lunacy on here - a surreal sense of humour definitely helps:D:D

    Afternoon folks

Today is a spend day so I thought I'd cram in what spends I can (thats the right idea isn't it :o) :D.

So I've been to the health shop who relieved me of £37 and to M&S who took £24 but did give me a jumper in return as well as some lunch.

And I'll need to get diesel later and might try to pack a trip to the supermarket in to save going the rest of the weekend.
