Suppose I could try and create some crab apple cider for our pirate bash on Apple Day? With a yo ho ho and a ho heave ho....

    Sounds good, Nargle:D

Great news about your car and the MOT and fingers crossed for an NSD tomorrow;)

    Morning all,

Ended up buying mine and OH's fancy dress costumes yesterday so a spendy day. And today has started out as a spend day as I've got to work and realised that my shoes have actually split. I'll be lucky if they last til the weekend so I've ordered a new pair from ebay. Not got some from there before so hoping that they will be ok. As I've already spent this morning, I'm considering spending a whole lot more later today - about £40 for a beautiful dress that I've seen, and around £1200 for a new pc each for me and OH :D

Note to self: supposed to be bringing debt down, not increasing it :p

Oooh, where are you going and what as, d3mon4ngel? You can't tell us you've bought fancy dress costumes without telling us what they are, now:D:D:D

Ooops, sorry about the shoes, hope the new ones are OK.

Did you manage to resist the other spends?

Ah we were worried about you Spoony - glad you are OK :j I watched the miners till 2 am when the last actual miner got drawn up out of that narrow shaft then had to get to bed - totally amazing that they did all that and how they did it wasn't it - fantastic pice of engineering and faith too - well done them and well done Chile - the eyes of the world were on them and they pulled through and came out as shining examples of faith 00020669.gif

Very true, 3Dogs, it was an incredibly inspiring experience and a testament to what humans can do when they put their minds to it (and their differences aside).

Reporting in late with NSD NUMBER 9 please Mistress Spoon - we popped down to the car boot with some gear to put in storage unit, but that's all today - no spendies :j :j

Keiss - I know how you are feeling with your asthma petal - I used to get like that and a physio we saw me like it told me to go straight to the docs to see nurse or doctor when my preventer inhaler didn't relieve the symptoms -which I did, got some steroids, and fit again within 2 days. You really shouldnot put up with it like that - get yourself seen to woman :D:D

And, I am sure that I am 'teaching Granny to suck eggs' here, but ..... do you use your preventer inhaler every morning and evening? I use to use my blue preventer all the time and my brown preveter occassionally, and when it was drummed into me to use my preventer EVERY morning and evening, and my reliever only when needed, I couldn't believe the difference it made. specially now that I am on Symbicort, which I use every morning and evening, and can use when and if required as a reliever too. Mind you, I hardly ever have to use any inhaler during the day now, except when something new seriously affects me

Hope you are feeling better tomorrow petal but, if not, get yourself to the docs
