didn't do so great to-day, fell into a cheapy store then some biscuits and some vaseline jumped into my handbasket (didn't know I had one, it miraculously appeared in my hand, honest), then some doggle biccies leapt at me and I was lost in a wee spending storm, so missed an NSD for £13.81.................
ah well, better luck tomorrow......

Hello again everyone! Have just finished persuading Igor to get back into the pages of Pratchett's novels (first came across him in Monstrous Regiment) and am finally over the hangover. I don't want to see a Cosmopolitan ever again. Though I might stick with the chocolate flake stirrers.
Busy past couple of days workwise and spendywise but some good news - my little motor flew through the MOT today, no probs at all. And it cost a fiver less than I had set aside so that's going towards a nice Sunday joint this weekend.
Desperately hoping for another NSD tomorrow, should be possible as I am at work all day and there will be no time to splosh the dosh.
I currently have about 8 pound in weight of home grown crab apples sitting in a bowl on my kitchen floor (nowhere else to put it). When the cat has finished playing chase the crab apple across the floor I will have to do something with them. I already have 10 big jars of crab apple jelly done, plus about 4 pints of cordial which did not turn out right - instead of a sweet fruity squash I have ended up with a soft, sweet fruit jelly gloop. What the heck do I do with that? (Answers on a postcard, please, and keep it clean...)
Suppose I could try and create some crab apple cider for our pirate bash on Apple Day? With a yo ho ho and a ho heave ho....One life - your life - live it!0 -
Evening everyone:j
