    Hi lovely NSD-ers:A:A
    I've been neglecting you all - sorry:o:o

Interwebby problems on Tuesday, back up and running yesterday but I got totally caught up watching the miners being rescued - flippin' incredible - and I had to wait until the last man was out.... 2.45 when I got to bed, up at 7.30 this morning to get to Tatco.. oops:D:D.....

Just updated the front page with all the NSDs from Tues and Weds - some great totals there - well done everyone:j:j:j

Hooby - noticed you'd lost count on my quick whizz through - you were on 4 on my last update on Monday.

Will be back later (definitely) to update for today and to reply to some of your posts, no time now, got to get working again:(:(

Take care everyone and keep the NSDs mounting up.

Ah we were worried about you Spoony - glad you are OK :j I watched the miners till 2 am when the last actual miner got drawn up out of that narrow shaft then had to get to bed - totally amazing that they did all that and how they did it wasn't it - fantastic pice of engineering and faith too - well done them and well done Chile - the eyes of the world were on them and they pulled through and came out as shining examples of faith 00020669.gif

Hya Spoony....glad you have made it back. I was keeping an eye/ear on the miners coming out too...as well as getting knitting done....though went to bed before midnight.

Finished my first ever sock yesterday, and over half way through the second today. :j.
.despite making a silly mistake and having to unravel quite a bit. :o

Declaring today as NSD no 8 today....getting there!!

Still got this stinking cold...bones and joints aching yesterday as well as my asthma being quite bad...couldn't go up the stairs without getting a coughing fit...so took to having a couple of puffs on my inhaler before heading upstairs!!! A misty day today, with neighbours having woodburning-stoves/
bonfires lit, so coughing away quite badly again  I HATE MY ASTHMA...it's official!!!!

One upside is that I am only really fit to knit or sew in this state.:)..though I need to get some baking done soon...definitely not up to making bread though ...or housework!! :o

If I don't get a decent night's sleep tonight (yet again!!!) , then methinks I will have to see the doc tomorrow :(.

Have a good day everyone....sorry about the moan....shuffles off, coughing and spluttering.

Keiss - I salute you re the sock - well done! Sorry you're poorly with the asthma - take it easy - sending ((hugs)):)

Had a lovely morning - went to library, picked up lots of freebies - a booklet filled with loads of advice re reuse/recycle and local charities/ organisation that will take your unwanted stuff off your hands and put it to good use. It was poetry day last Thursday in the library ( apparently) and they were giving away lots of lovely postcards with poems on. Will make good bookmarks.;)
I then met my M&D for coffee, and they not only treated meto coffee and a bun, but they also gave me a lovely carved bird feeder that you pop an apple or a fat ball on. I'm a very lucky Jinty today!:)
I got some windfalls when I was out with doglet so birdies have a proverbial buffet of snacks to choose from!;)

Declaring early today - not spent anything but I seem to have had rather a good time:rotfl:That's number 12!

In the words of PDD - laters:rotfl:

  • Hi all, today was supposed to be a NSD but I brought soup to work for lunch and no can opener. I could have scoffed the bag of crisps and five curly wurlies in my drawer but I opted to buy some proper food instead! Still on number 7.
