Declaring NSD #9 :T
Also putting aside the cost of the dogs jabs - he's booked in for annual booster and kennel cough vaccine next Wed morning. He's never had the latter before as I've never had him in kennels, but I've decided it's worth getting it done in case I fancy/can afford a night/few days away in the next 12 months.
Cheryl - def worth getting the Kennel cough vaccine. My dog got kennel cough without going near a kennel and it was horrible to see.
The vet said that incidents of KC are on the rise because lots of folks think they should only get the vaccine if they're using kennels, plus some folks are not getting their pets vaccinated because of money issues.

But ** hangs head in shame ** I must admit I didn't even know there was a vaccine for it, until I bobbed into the vets 3 weeks ago asking about kennels in the area !!! I've had the dog (and been using the same vet) since Dec 2004, and it's never once been mentioned until thenCheryl0 -

Ooops, sorry about the shoes, hope the new ones are OK.
Did you manage to resist the other spends?
x
It's a combined fancy dress party for my Nana's 80th and my step-sisters 16th. The theme is Disney / cartoon's, and me and OH are going as the Incredibles... us two in lycra, that's enough to scare anyone! I might even see about posting a pic afterwards if you think you can handle it
I did buy the dress, but I can kind of justify it to myself, as OH's brother is getting married in December and I'm going to be using it for that. It's one of those 50's rockabilly dresses with the petticoat under like they do the rock n roll dances in. I love that style, and when it comes, I'm going to study how it's made and just make my own in future - pretty dress and pattern all in one
I've managed to resist the PC, but it will have to be bought soon, as my main entertainment / relaxing in the evening is my online games, which my current computer just won't do anymorebut, I should be able to get it on interest free credit for 12 months, so it shouldn't be too bad as we'll easily be able to save it up in that time, we just don't have the money to hand here and now when we need it.

Good morning everyone!
Yesterday I made it into doubles figures, so I'm now up to 10 NSDs - yay me! So, I'm halfway to my pledge at the halfway point of the month :T.pure_dead_dopey wrote: »Cheryl, you are giving me panic attacks, one loo roll WILL NOT LAST UNTIL MONDAY!!!!!
please buy some tomorrow, I won't be able to sleep, there are too many what ifs, what if you drop it down the loo tonight in the dark?
what if you get an upset tummy in the dead of night? what if it unravels itself and falls all over the loo floor?
please go buy some, I need my sleep, really!!!

Well yesterday turned out to be a NSD :jI'm not even sure what that makes now - will check my sig after I've posted
Not sure why I'm so rubbish at remembering things! Aah Well
Unfortunately today is not going to be a NSD. Got an appointment at 9.10 to see someone about my ear because (too much info here) it's leaking a bit too much to be normal and I wake up with my hair stuck to my ear _pale_
Euch! I'm also *hopefully* getting to see the train to see my OH later :j

Loo roll decision made..... I'm holding off until Monday, but putting the money to one side today
Had planned to be out early for the shopping this morning, but hadn't managed to get going by the time I got the latest email from N3tto at 7:40ish (hadn't really planned to be out until 7:50 anyway if I was heading to work for their own label ones) - and on Monday they have the 12 pack of Cush3lle for £4. This makes them slightly dearer than Mr M's which are £7 for 2x12 - and I get staff discount so only £6.30 to me, so 85p/pack more which equates to 7p/roll extra for the Cush3lle. But as I know from experience they last me longer than the store own brand ones I'm more than happy with that
As I rarely shop there, does anyone know if N3tto have a limit on how many of these offers you can buy? (I have 3 local stores I can get to if so, especially as I'm off work on Monday so can be at the closest for opening time - but need one pack for the rest of this year and 5 more if I'm going to stock up enough to comfortably get me through to the end of 2011), and do they take manufacturers coupons (I have one for 50p off)?Cheryl0 -
:)Just back from my excursion to our shiny new Tesco - done the weekly shop - the last one for Oct for me, my month ends on the 20th.
Have ended up £2.01 over budget, but I'm more than happy with that as it was a 5 weeker for me and I cut the budget from £200 to £170 this month. I bought tahini paste to make hummus for lunches next week and it was that which drove me over the edge!:o
Have been really trying to not waste anything this month, so tonight its HM sausage rolls made with leftover puff pastry and sausages with chips and beans!
Got all the items on my to get list, plus some sweeties for the cupboard, face wash and deodorant.
I'll be sweet inside and out:rotfl::rotfl:
Off to walk doglet then Im seriously thinking about going back to bed. I can feel a cold approaching and I dont want to miss the niece's 18th birthday lunch on Sunday.
Have a lovely day everyone:)

SD here today, I've already been to MrT for few bits we needed. After DH has finished work tonight we're all going to town to check out charity shops for Halloween costume making.
Fingers crossed we should have a spend free weekend though0
