running through a bit demented, back at work to-day, no NSD to-day as large children and waiflike girlfriend and macho boyfriend ate everything down to the bottom of fridge and even made good inroads into emergency tomato pile, so had to restock.
New York??? are we going to New York??? no one told me, when are we going to New York, can Hubert come? can the aliens come?
I think I might have a frog and a duck who want to come too, but Nargle cannot start swearing in recipes at them.........they get upset you know.
see you laters
Hugs to everyone who feels the need
paper tissues who feel the need to sneeze
cough bottles and a wee hot toddy to those that feel this is best medication

Spoony - polystyrene balls and wooden sticks inside a shoe box of course! DS has drawn his planets to scale on a toilet roll so that he can get the correct relative distances. Internet search engines are a wonderful thing.
NSD for me today. Been to work (took some sherry trifle from the weekend for lunch - not sure if that's really appropriate to eat in the staff room?) and been to tap (but paid in advance for 10 weeks).
Not going to be NSD tomorrow due to DD riding lesson so plan to think of anything we might need and get it tomorrow while I'm spending anyway.
Hugs and tissues to everyone who needs them - I don't know how other people remember who to send them too, the thread moves too quickly for me.
Best wishes all
Hooby

Hi all, thanks for the warm welcome! It's good to be part of the club :grouphug:
Today was my first day and I'm happy to report that it's been NSD #1 :j
Tomorrow will be a spend day as is every Tuesday because it's pub quiz night
I have a couple of questions if someone could help please....
I'm a member of a band and we pay subscriptions each week (the princely sum of £2) would people count this as a spend or not as it's a necessity?
How do I get in the challenge every month? Do I have to look out for the thread starting?
thanks folks :grinheartThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi ppl,
Not doing to well with the NSD's this month gonna have to sort myself out,(please feel free to give me HUGE kick up the bum @ any time).
Have only had one more since last been on here, (3/16 so far), been to Blackpool with ekids to see illuminations, spent on donnuts, dinner and rock, but found a bargain at tea time.. a DOUBLE Hotdog for...... wait for it........ a masssive 55p, BARGAIN, even came with onions, red sauce and mustard, (my fav).
Apart for not having many NSD's I have actually been busy Debt Busting...
So far this month i have managed to do the following:-
1, Cleared the last £195.00 remaining on my credit card, as it was at the end of the 0% deal.
2. Paid my £200.00 overdraft off on my current account. 19.5%
3. Paid off the £120.00 overdraft on wifes current account, which we use for paying the bills. Again 19.5%.
4. Paid £400.00 towards wifes overdraft on the wifes other current account, what she uses for her wages. Unsure of rate, think its under 10%, as its a premier account.
5. Paid an extra £100.00 off my catologue. 0% for 52 weeks.
6. Paid 59p off wifes loan and £1.00 off the caravan loan. Don't laugh, I'm serious. (was checking that the internet payment transfer we set up was working)
7. Paid an extra £200.00 off the caravan loan
Total overpayments so far this month, £1216.59. :T (All the overtime was worth it, but boy, do I feel knackered).
So all in all not doing to bad..
Roll on Friday as can't wait to BUST some more Debt. (Turning into an addiction, may have to start a debt busters anonymus group,. Hi my name is Chris and im addicted to paying off my Debts.). :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Planning tomorrow, wednesday and Thursday as NSD's as on overtime, again, Friday will be a spend day as my wifes out round town for my mums 50th, so will be treating myself to a few cans of beer, and the kids can have a few sweets.YNAB is my new best friend.0 -

Well I'd be pretty pleased with myself if I were you, you can't very well have NSDs and make all those debt payments at the same time can you??!! Well done! :TThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
