So I can report NSD NUMBER 7 as safely negotiated :j

And a mate gave Mr 3Dogs a telephone number of someone who may be able to sell him a starter motor for the van, so he will be ringing the guy up first thing in the morning :j

Yay to no 7, 3Dogs,:j love the "buy now, pay Friday" arrangement, that's brilliant.:j

Fingers crossed you can get the starter motor sorted tomorrow, it must be a pain being without transport:(.

    Good morning everyone -

Pleased to report #8 for yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed the book event yesterday. It was entitled "There's been a Murder" and was a discussion about crime writing chaired by Ian Rankin. There were four other crime writers there - Allan Guthrie, Doug Johnstone, Alice Thompson and Carolone Dunford and it was just brilliant to hear them talk about their work and have the chance to ask questions. Didnt spend though - I was very strong!
Today Im going to bake ( banana loaf) and put a bolognaise in the SC.
I sold my Amazon stuff (yay) so I will have to post that off but I have plenty of stamps so I dont envisage any spend today!
    Have a lovely day everyone:)

Hmm - a spendy weekend (Saturday = lunch out with family - but managed lunch for the 6 of us (inc drinks) at Franki3 & B3nnys for £26 :D - a treat as DS1 took his grammar school entrance test, so now we're just waiting.... Also had a meal out with friends in the evening for DH's birthday. Oh, and spent £1 at the cathedral on a pamphlet for the sculpture exhibition there at the moment (really good)

Yesterday was always going to be a spend day - Sunday paper - so did some food shopping, too and should be ok now until Friday (maybe Thurs if the kids have a run on white bread)

So... NSD 4/10 for me today - I am not going near a shop at all - in fact, I'll be getting cash in today instead (ebay collection) :)

Some fab figures already so far!

I wonder if the one British Euromillions winner is amongst us??? Do we have any takers? Drum roll .....

I got all excited on the way to work this morning when I heard it hadn't been claimed yet and was in the UK - because I hadn't checked my numbers ... sadly only one match :( So I'll be keeping up with the NSDs *sigh* Well done to CW18 and Jinty on your massive wins though! :D

Yeah that's been about the extent of my weekend's excitement but it means I've clocked up another 2 NSDs :T bringing me to 5/20 - sounds pretty good but don't think I'll make the full 20! Today I need to buy painkillers but as they're a necessity (it's *that* time) and I got the money out of my £2 coin owl for them, I'll not count it as a spend. Hoping I can get to Wednesday without buying anything else...

Big 'Get Well Soon's to everyone who is poorly - seems like a lot of you :(

  • Good morning everyone!

Yesterday was another unscheduled NSD so I'm up to 7 NSDs! Today should be a spend day though, as the cupboards are very looking bare!

I didn't manage to get to it this weekend since I was too ill yesterday, so have moved it to next weekend.
I loved those vids though. :D:D

Love the vids Chris! Amazing skills, & one of the brood passed a comment on the rider's abilities to pass the paintwork & not leave any scuff marks.
:jchris81418: yay to no 6, you’re doing brilliantly, woohoo indeed!!
