and I got the money out of my £2 coin owl for them, I'll not count it as a spend. Hoping I can get to Wednesday without buying anything else...

Seems we all have special things for holding our spare coins - mine's a cermic welly boot with the legend " rainy day fund" on it - it's a wee bit bare atm -let's hope it stays dry:rotfl:

Sorry it wasnt you that won the €MILLIONS Tete, wont be paying off my mortgage with mine unfortunately!:(

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • I got all excited on the way to work this morning when I heard it hadn't been claimed yet and was in the UK - because I hadn't checked my numbers ... sadly only one match :( So I'll be keeping up with the NSDs *sigh* Well done to CW18 and Jinty on your massive wins though! :D
Better luck for next time - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! Smiley_-_throwing_money.gif

Hmm - a spendy weekend (Saturday = lunch out with family - but managed lunch for the 6 of us (inc drinks) at Franki3 & B3nnys for £26 :D - a treat as DS1 took his grammar school entrance test, so now we're just waiting....
Wow, that is immpressive!! We went to F&B's (Evesham...did you go to Glos or Chelt?) on Friday night....and spent/ate too much! Suffice to say the left-over pizza we took home made a scrummy tea on Saturday (along with pasta & cheese sauce from the freezer)!!

Declaring today as NSD no 6, as got DH to pick up some milk on his way home yesterday, since he had already done some shopping. Also did a couple of on-line orders too...so pleased with myself. Even wrote a cheque out to hand over today.

Off out tomporrow to a couple of events at the Cheltenham Literature Festival with a friend...so having lunch out too. Will stop off to get some essential bits and bobs (paracetamol and hankies...nearly used them all up with the cold this weekend...DS2 and DH also now succumbing :(). My head has cleared, but still coughing and hugging my aching ribs.

Hope to get things done today...deep in the middle of making Christmas presents atm, one is finished and another two nearly there!! Need to get a couple finished to send to Canada, and a few more to take up to Scotland when I go up at the end of the month...a good incentive to get my finger out!

Have a good day everyone...looks like it's going to be another lovely one!

  • Morning all

Just reporting my NSDs! Yesterday was another NSD for me and today will be a NSD as I'm working from home doing my OH's paperwork (which earns me a bit of extra money!).

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I have had a really good giggle this w/e :D You know when something just tickles your funny bone & it doesn't matter how many times you see it? I drove The Offspring mad by rewinding the teeniest bit of that (non)talent show on Saturday evening as it made me laugh out loud :p It was a moody looking guy in a frilly shirt, stood in front of some white-washed twigs. He was singing & all of a sudden....JUMPED..as tho something had scared him. I reckon he saw the mic & wondered what on earth he was holding but it was so, so funny to see his reaction. It's the first time I've been happy that No2 Offspring watches that &*#!$?£ :rotfl:

Anyhoo *wipes tears from eyes as chuckling at the thought even now* I've got No 8 *goes to see if it's still on the planner for another look!*

No more NSDs to declare yet, :(

Saturday was looking promising (in part due to getting through the supermarket till and finding I had got there without my purse so ended up leaving everything and slinking away embarassed:o) but then I was sent out for later for wood glue and other dull DIY bits.

Sunday I bought a new waste bin and today I have had vets bills:( and petrol to buy.

Fingers crossed for a NSD tomorrow, hope everyone else is doing better than me.
