I don't count things that come out of my account electronically on NSDs (DD, SOs etc.) but I do count all other spending, even if it's budgeted. For controlling non-budget spends I'm on the weekly spend challenge, which you might find useful too.
thank you! I'm on Weekly Spend Challenge too so I'll count the band subs as a spend day but include it in my weekly budget methinks :money:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
woohooo Day 2 for me, I now consider myself a NSD expert. Hubby plays pool for a pub team on a monday night, and as I only count NSD when nobody in the household spends, not just me, I made him forget his wallet accidentaly on purpose lol!!! He only has a coke anyway because he drives so I am sure one of his team mates will buy him one ( am I taking this too far!!!) xx0

Not an NSD for me today - D/Debit for my original endowment plan went out this morning. (Only another 17 months to maturity now
)
Haven't been near the shops again today, so the D/Debit was my only spend. Can hardly believe I'm no longer itching for D/Debits to go so that I can go and restock on milk/ice-cream/cheese/cold meats/pop without losing an NSD...... shame DS didn't move out soonerMrs 3 Dogs fixed the van today :T :T :T :Tso we were able to use it today for slimming class (I lost 2 1/2 pounds :j but Mr 3Dogs gained 4 1/2 )
The only problem being I'm supposed to be on maintainance calories now, and ate all but 18 of them last weekEven when I was trying to lose I wasn't supposed to be dropping any faster than 0.5lb/week (though I did), so I fired off a desperate message to the HelpTeam of the site I use this morning asking for help to put the brakes on the loss - especially as I'm now 3.5lb below my target weight  They've asked me try a week of eating 100 cals/day over the number they would have allocated me to maintain at the weight I wanted to stick at and report back next Monday, so I have one heck of a lot of eating to do this week as I now have a basic daily allowance of a whopping 2096 calories.
This was made even worse today as I did a 5 mile run this morning (slow at 1hr 3mins, but at least it looks like my leg will hold up for the race on Sunday), then spent half an hour this afternoon mowing the back lawn before walking the dog for 40 mins - all of which 'earned' me an additional 767 calories, which is over a third extra again!!
I've ended the day with 390 calories left uneaten despite feeling as if I've done nothing but eat since 10am this morning - but I can spread these over the week which should be easy enough, as I've no more running planned until the race (and I have a huuuuge piece of steak for tea that night, as a reward/celebration for having done my first rate, which is 750 cals worth without the addition of potatoes/chips and veg)

Welcome to the funny farm
Are you incinerating something, LfV, we're all perfectly sane, rational people on her who have intelligent and highbrow conversations (in a universe parallel to this one, that is:D:D:D)The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Spoon, stop clocking up the NSDs and get out there and tax and MOT the Tardis as we have a few trips coming up and I don't think Hubert can manage to carry all of us over the Big Pond....
It certainly is Nargle, if anyone wants to join in, they can.
The tardis is fully MOT'd, taxed, washed and valeted, all done last week when I did my grocery shopping, not about to lose an NSD for that, I'm determined to get a full house this month:D. I think Hubert would struggle to carry us lot across the pond:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

New York??? are we going to New York??? no one told me, when are we going to New York, can Hubert come? can the aliens come?
I think I might have a frog and a duck who want to come too, but Nargle cannot start swearing in recipes at them.........they get upset you know.
see you laters
Hugs to everyone who feels the need
paper tissues who feel the need to sneeze
cough bottles and a wee hot toddy to those that feel this is best medication

Oh dopey, I have missed your posts:D:D, it's lovely to have you (and you wonderful sense of humour) back again:j:j
Hope the emergency tomato pile has been restored today back to its normal 52 tins:):)
Yes, we're off to New York tomorrow to celebrate Freethought Day - we're going to have a picnic and a rant in Central Park. We didn't tell you because you were on holiday, not because we don't want you to come along. We're off in the tardis tomorrow, Hubert can come (but he must wear a nappy, I'm not shovelling up poo again:p), the aliens can come, so can the frog and the duck, we'll keep them safe from Nargle and away from her pots and pans:D

Fantastic news :T
And my scales showed another 2lb gone this morning...

Thanks Cheryl - I know you are finding it hard to maintain but some of us would just love the problem you have at the momentAll that running must eat up loads of calories and not just that, it must tone you up wonderfully too, so it's no wonder your clothes are falling off you bonnie lass
