    Good morning everyone -

Number 5 clocked up yesterday - just today to go for my 6 in a row mini challenge and I will get it as I'm only going to the library.
I'm listing some stuff on Ama&on so fingers crossed, I may end up in profit today!:rotfl:
Generally chillaxing today after two very stressful days at work, feeling a bit wrung out today!

Will be back later to check up on the gossip;)

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

PS LFV - thinking of you and yours today(((hugs)))

Oh, I so need to get a move on. I haven't managed any NSDs so far and people are already on their 5th and 6th ones. It's just been so busy at school that moneysaving has fallen by the wayside. But hopefully start again this wkd. I wish I had logged onto here earlier during the week (LOL), a few days away and you forget how motivating this place can be.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all, nice and sunny in Nargleland so I will be getting free fresh air and exercise (but sshhh! don't tell the Government!)

LFV - hope all goes well today. Funerals I find can be cathartic and a way of bringing some closure to things - although the memories and hurts are still there, there is often a sense of crossing a frontier and moving on.

Looking forward to making this NSD number 3 as there are no plans to go out and spend anything. Watch this space......

Going to be a spendy day today. It always was, but DH had a flat on the way to taking DS2 to college. They limped back here and took the other car to college. DH is back home and talking to A*S to see if they have a tyre in stock. He has a mini, which doesn't have a spare...they have this "repair kit" which he used previously (but didn't replace!), so having to go for the tyre.

Oops, they don't have any tyres in stock atm, but will have one by this afternoon. DH is now deciding whether to take the other car into work, then come back this afternoon...or work from home (he can do this) so he can get more work done...and save fuel to boot. This does mean I "lose" the dining room to work in, but as it's a lovely day, I can work in the garden...also have more chutney to make...so plenty to do.

Also need to get into to town to pick up the printer, as well as some cartriudges and other stuff (anniversary card for DH :o, was going to make one, but difficult as he is here!!).

Off tomorrow to Grand Designs @ the NEC...free tickets courtesy of MSE....hope not to spend much, though could well have an anniversary meal out in the evening. :D...27 years, doesn't time fly!! Already thinking about planning a trip to France for our 30th in 3 years time!!

    Have a frugal day everyone.

Looks like DH will be home all day! :)

Well yesterday was NSD number 3 sadly today prob wont be but thats ok I still feel like I am on track happy0046.gif

Had a lovely day yesterday back at school (where i used to work and sometimes go back to help out) then had a rather heavily pregnant friend round for dinner. Just a simple dinner using what was in. Fajitas for main and HM choc fudge pud for afters which she loved and made me feel quite good ashamed0003.gif

All probs at work have been ironed out (not neccessarily good but I do still have a job which is the main thing) and my "man" trouble is coming to an end (again not for the good but at least its getting sorted)

All in all everything is going the right way indifferent0013.gif

Hope you all have a good day and love0073.gif to those who need them

    first nsd yesterday woo-hoo!
  • Pleased to report that I did manage to get to bed last night without spending anything :D Hoping for #3 today. I have a quandary tomorrow - I have a hospital appt that I'd forgotten about and will have to pay about £4 for parking ... I'm tempted to not class it as a spend though as it's unavoidable. If I DO class it as a spend day, I'll be tempted to buy chocolate and crisps and all sorts... :o Is it cheating?

Thinking of you today LFV - hope all goes well.

Chris - well done on paying so much off, you must feel great!

Keiss - congrats on the 27 years!

    ((LFV))

Didn't manage a NSD yesterday - took ebay parcels to PO, DS1 had a tutor in the evening and bought DS2 some sweets (And therefore DS1 and DD) whilst at PO cos queue was massive and he was really good (he's 4) Hoping for one today though - have avoided the a!di spends I thought I was going to have - DS1 & DS2 have harvest festival at school tomorrow and need to take in fresh produce. Have just picked a bunch of runners from the garden and they can have some apples from my mum's tree :D
