Hi all
Do I want to order a people tree goody bag from the email? Is it worth losing a NSD for? Do I need anymore clothes? Am I just enticed by the idea of it being a lucky dip??
Of course nicca I remember planning to start making clothes myself like you are starting to. I got a sewing machine, I even bought a pattern or 2, but thats about it. Problem is I remembered I like my clothes with lycra in them and that seems like it would be very hard to sew.
Resist, Tixy, you can do it:D:D
Lycra's not hard to sew at all actually, it just looks it. Ballpoint needle and looser tension are the secret. Bit of practice first and you'd soon get the hang of it.
Oh and the swearing and pins are compulsory - thanks d3mon4ngelThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hi lovely NSD gang :A
Lots of NSDs rolling in today, well done everyone, keep ‘em rolling in:j
A very warm welcome to all our newbies signing up this month, new people are always welcome to join, we’re a a very friendly, if slightly insane, bunch and a surreal sense of humour definitely helps. We are, however, very serious in our aim to cut down on our spending and are happy to give advice/tips/hints so please ask if you’re not sure about anything. Everyone seems to have more success if they post regularly on here and join in the chat - not sure why, but it seems to work, so please feel free to join in:D
So welcome and good luck to:

Hello to:
Nargle: ooh a tingly feeling, an NSD is definitely approaching then, fingers crossed:)
boultdj: oh dear, sorry about the car and the taxi spend. At least the car won’t cost you anything though, that’s something:)
Diana Prince: oh dear to spendy day yesterday and today, fingers crossed for Friday. You’re right about looking forward to NSDs, this challenge definitely changes your way of thinking:)
cw18: oh dear... I can see you were in rebellious mode today - some good bargains again though. And very organised as usual Cheryl:)
Very quick (and cheap) visit to the shops for me today, longer and more expensive trip to Tatco for me tomorrow, so still stuck on no 5 with my next NSD being Friday.
Had a long day today so will update front page tomorrow, if that’s OK. See you all then
‘night everyone

Hi Spoony thanks for the add again.
Just letting you all know that unfortunantly today wasn't a NSD as I had a take-a-way last night at work(oh well, I will just call this a treat as I have been doing alot of overtime lately), and have also had to put fuel in the car, but not from my pocket as this was from grand parents for taking them to the airport so I imagine that don't count.
Also I managed to find another £120 today which managed to clear the overdraft (19.5% interest) we had on our bills account.
Thats it for now, signing off to go to bed ready for another 12hrs overtime 2 nite.
Nite, nite all see you all 2morrow, hope u all have a good day.

Hi,
I have done this challenge before but generally forget whenI have spent and when I haven't. However this month I am having some thoughts re debts and the like so instead of setting a target I just want to record the days I don't spend. I am also off sick so apologies if this makes no sense. I have a temp and am a bit all over the place
so far I haven't spent Tues, Wed. Probably won't spend today either.
Lady Venice I am so sorry for your situation, thinking of you xxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -

I am not going to be calling him - I clearly made that mistake before he went away (phoned to wish him a good holiday having heard nothing from him for three weeks) - and will use the time tonight/tomorrow to find all the stuff for the Breast Cancer fundraiser I'm going to at the weekend (24 hours of papercrafting from Saturday morning, and I'm not even sure where my paper trimmer is as I've done nothing in at least 6 months let alone sorted out any photos to take for my scrapbooking!!!)
In the past I'd have been consuming vast quantities of cakes, biscuits, sweets in general, and most definitely chocolate. So a quarter of a Whoopsied cake (of which a portion size is actually 1/6th) while still staying well with calorie limit and remaining close to nutritional balance (carbs/protein/fat) is pretty good going
And the cake was only 99p, so a lot cheaper than my 'old day' bingesCheryl0 -
I'm on a roll - yesterday was NSD number 4! I should collect another one today (fingers crossed), which will get me back on track to reach my pledge/target.
Have a good day everyone!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

3rd NSD today :j
Jinty how annoying , i hate people using my office ( i;m only part time so others use it on my day off )I often come back to missing pens , bits of paper all over - drives me mad !
Thanks - it's nice to know I'm not the only PT'er that suffers from this - yesterday I locked all my pens, staples, post-its etc in my drawer before leaving - feel like a right saddo but it's necessary!:ochrisfreelander54 wrote: »Also I managed to find another £120 today which managed to clear the overdraft (19.5% interest) we had on our bills account.
Chris - well done on the debt-busting, that's great!
