dont suppose you crazy lot have a baker aswell as a cow that wanders round?????
I work in the bakery (at Mr M), but I'm not actually trained to bake from scratch I'm afraid - just the 'bake off' things like cookies, danishes, french sticks, best scones and mince pies. They do allow me to fry (and sugar and fill) the doughnuts - but I don't even make the dough for those ;)

Also, I seem to be having a hard time finding sillicon loaf tins from anywhere. I've seen them in Tesco, but they're about £7 each and I don't want to be paying that much. I got my others from Home Bargains for £1.99 each, but they seem to have sold out now. I tried in PoundStretcher and Aldi too, but no luck either. Anyone got any ideas where else I can try?
B'n'M if you have one in your area (best price I've seen recently) or TK-Max (dearer, but not as bad as Mr T etc)

  • Hi all

I am reporting my no 2 NSD for today as I won't be leaving the house! I'm being incredibly lazy and at 35 weeks pregnant I think I'm entitled to be lazy so I keep telling my OH! It also means I won't be going out spending :)

Hope everyone has a successful NSD today!

I saw someone mention the new series of Bones--could you let me know when it starts please? I've tried looking on-line but couldn't see a date..but I'm in heaven with House & NCIS:LA starting this week & can't wait for the ghee-oorrrr-juss Mark Harmon in NCIS, The Mentalist, CSI & CSI:NY to begin. I don't get on with that twit Horatio in the Miami version--he's always fiddling with his sunnies & it drives me nuts

Hi BMF, I thought it was you who'd mentioned previously you liked Bones. According to the Sky Magazine it starts next Wednesday, the 13th, 9pm. NCIS starts on Friday 22nd, House Tonight 9pm Sky2 and Fringe tomorrow at 10pm(according to website). Must admit I haven't tried any of the NCIS yet. If there's fit men in them maybe I will ;)

I didn't realise but on the Sky website you can sign up and they will tell you when your favourite programme is next on so you don't miss it. Perfect for me as I always forget to set the Sky+. It will also set up your sky+ for you online to record the programs! I've just signed up to it.

Talking of fit men, I've just remembered that it was WWE Hell in a Cell last night. Must go and check the website to see how my Randy got on against Sheamus (yeah, I know, sad aren't I).:rotfl:
