Nargle's on 9 and that's yer lot because I have to let the moths out of the purse for a little flutter tomorrow as I do a bit of top-up shopping.....only 70% of my target (well, 69.2307692307692307%) but who cares? We are on the threshold of another month, and I am up for a target of 13 for November, Mistress Spoon! Now, how's preparations for our Halloween bash? Alnwick Castle here we come.........wooooooooooo!

Went out today to pick up the last of the bits I needed, and which I'd put money away for - and I shopped around for them, clocking up just under 10 miles on my bike in the process.

But I also picked up a couple of bits not on my list, so still a spend day for me (gravy granules x2 while on offer in Mr T, vinegar x1, black treacle x1 as I decided I fancy trying to make some parkin and think I have everything else in already = £2.60 additional spend)

I do not need anything tomorrow, so should still manage to exceed my target ;)

evening everyone!!! reached NSD no15 today :D
hope everyone is ok, i can't keep up with this thread :D xx
  • Number 15 today & tomorrow also has to be one if i want to meet my target.

Friday should have been one too but was the managers leaving do from work & i really didn't want to go but thought i should, office politics & the fact that the new manager starts on Monday. It wasn't too bad but then again i did only stay a couple of hours!!

Think this is the first weekend in ages i haven't been DIYing like a mad woman (apart from when i was sick, which doesn't really count!) & i can't believe how much i have enjoyed pottering round cleaning the house!!!!

Tomorrows jobs are the worlds biggest pile of ironing & a rearrange of the freezer so i can try batch cooking a new recipe for curried lentil soup, but i have all the bits in that i need so a nice cosy day at home i think :D

P.S. Well done for 23 Spoon, thats amazing!! :T
