Ooooo, you'll get in trouble with Big Mumma & Spoon for using the F word. On this thread we don't Fail we just don't get the amount we would like but it's all in the right direction of keeping money in our hand's, not the shop's,and Good Luck for next month's target. And on that note :oit's a spend day for me,needed egg's for the date & walnut muffin's.

((((hugs)))) kate, quite a few of us (me included) have had a carp week, don't know what's going on. I'd like to hide under my duvet until the end of December actually, but don't think that's going to happen:(

    Take care
    spoon x

Thanks Spoon :) xx I think a NSD virtual duvet day is on the cards - we could all just forget about the real world and slob about all day!! Hope you're feeling better, take care (and well done on your fantastic number of NSDs!!) xx

Just nipping in to report that yesterday was NSD number 15. Today is a definate spend day, so that only leaves me tomorrow to meet my target. I found this easy at first but really struggling now - there appears to be a definate correlation between how hard work/life is and how often I pop to the shop for a bottle of wine!

Off to get ready for yet another hen night now, finding it hard to build up the enthusiasm but hopefully I'll feel better when I get there!

Congrats on both the cheese and the bike Cheryl, fantastic bargains!

See you all tomorrow hopefully to report that I've met my target :) xx

  • Right, I'm declaring today as my final NSD of the month luckily taking me to my target! :D tomorrow I know I have a spend as we're out for lunch so I'm glad I didn't spend anything today!! :) Yays! Feels like another great mini achievement, another step in my debt-busting journey :) Spoon, could you pop me down for 14 NSDs for November please? :D

    Evening all!

Well done on the bike and panniers Cheryl :T

Sunnylooloo - tell me about vet bills - you need to take out a loan to get their claws clipped, I am thinking that my NI contributions should go to the vet instead of the NHS, I'm sure the vet costs me more than any healthcare I have.

Spoony - you'll be pleased to know I gave the oven a miss (though not as pleased as OH :rotfl::rotfl:) Still no joy of finding the handle at any less that £40(ish), called the manufacturer and they wanted to charge me £60 :eek: apparently the handle now comes as a 'kit' (I'm not quite sure what that actually includes, perhaps the rest of the oven :rotfl::rotfl:) so I just asked for the old and new p/n so at least I have those on my quest. Still waiting to hear back from a couple of places that might be cheaper (guy on Gumtree and another site online) so fingers crossed.....

Spendy day today as planned, eyebrows now separated, couple of baking trays replaced (99p shop), plus a few other house bits purchased, oh, and £13 spent in Mr S .... went in for cat food, fabric softener and soup and might have come out with a couple of loaves of store baked bread (cranberry and stilton is yummy though!) but I did see that they at last have fresh cranberries which I have been waiting for to make my chutney :j:j no buy today though as they were £4 for 300g  will have a look around a bit and see if anywhere else has them cheaper.

    :hello:

    Hi all NSD'ers

It has been sooooo long since I've been in here :(. Writing those assignments has really eaten in to my time then I was poorly for a few days. It has really shown too...I have been keeping notes in my diary even though I haven't got in here. I fell well short of my target this month, only 10 so far out of the 17 I made as a target (and one of them is today)

I think that as I have had so much going on in my head I haven't been very organised :(

I am determined to do better next month and still want to keep my target at 17.......

Mind you just as I feel I'm getting somewhere bill wise I got a P800 today saying I owe £600 odd in tax from 08-09 and 09-10  Made my day NOT!!!! so need to really knuckle down on unorganised spends

Will try to get in tomorrow, if not see you all next month

    :hello:
