    Hi lovely NSD gang:A
Wow... you lot are keeping me busy today - 5 pages already. Going to do a very quick roundup and welcome today otherwise I’ll be here ‘til 5 in the morning. I will try to get everyone in but if I miss you out it’s an oversight and you have permission to poke me in the ribs

A very warm welcome to all our newbies signing up this month, new people are always welcome to join, we’re a a very friendly, if slightly insane, bunch and a surreal sense of humour definitely helps. We are, however, very serious in our aim to cut down on our spending and are happy to give advice/tips/hints so please ask if you’re not sure about anything. Everyone seems to have more success if they post regularly on here and join in the chat - not sure why, but it seems to work, so please feel free to join in:D

So welcome and good luck to:

:jkatenut: well done, great start for you, keep going now... ahh.. lovely dad
:jkathy40uk: well done, great start for you, keep going now. Great news about the course, that’s brilliant. Glad you’re looking after froglet and sheepie unlike some of our other prize winners last month
:jd3mon4ngel: well done, great start for you, keep going now
:jmuffin man 7: well done, great start for you, keep going now

    And hello to:
elf06: fingers crossed for today for you. Re what we include, we all have our own rules depending on the areas we want/need to target. For me, my DDs are all under control, my purse/debit card is a different matter altogether so I count a spend day as any time I either spend cash or use my debit card - that stops me popping into a shop for “just a couple of things” and coming out having spent £20 at least..... Have a think about where you need to cut down/monitor your spending and work on that/those area(s). Start small and work up would be my tip - good luck
katenut: good luck for today though I think you probably deserve an after work drink with the hours you’ve been working. Hope you enjoyed the wiggle
PerfectPeaches: hi, I’ve already signed you up for 20, good luck with your change of lifestyle, it must be very exciting. Look forward to seeing your NSD progress
Nargle: eek to DS who keeps growing - you’re feeding him to well, clearly. Good luck for tomorrow

And I’ve made my first NSD for October today as well, so a very happy spoon.:j

I'm going to update the front page tomorrow, will add everybody then and add the first NSDs for October at the same time, hope this is OK

    ‘night everyone

    Good morning everyone!
A big welcome to all our newbies!:T I think this challenge works well with the Grocery Challenge, doing both really helps me:)

Love the piggybank, Tixy, great idea to have him as our mascot, Spoon!;)
Should get #1 today, hairdresser coming to attend to OH's do, other than that we're staying put, as OH is planning on making a veggie curry for scoffing while watching Strictly and I need to get my ironing done.
Im setting myself a mini challenge of trying for 6 NSD's in a row this week (needs must, as I'm a bit skint this week, always the same the first week of the month!)
Kerri - any chance of the recipe for the apple & blackberry cake? That sounds yummy!

LFV & Keiss nice to see you back:A

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.

Guessing that might be something to do with someone posting the link to Septembers thread when elf06 mentioned she wanted to work on her NSDs ;)

Welcome aboard to all the newbies :)

Great to see so many people returning for another month as well :)

:D:D:D [STRIKE]You've[/STRIKE] Somebody has deff started something Cheryl!!!

Well sadly yesterday wasnt a NSD becaue I remembered I needed milk so decided to get a few other bits that were needed (but not immediately) to save me nipping in another day. Hopefully today will be but I have decided not to announce these things too early on in the day incase of disaster :o
I wont be including my DD's in my challenge and wont include my Sunday Zumba session either as these are both accounted for but EVERYTHING else will be!! I do have budgets for everything but want to get the days I shop lowered so decision made :T.

Looking forward to today as my parents have been away for 2 weeks and arrived home yesterday. DS and I didnt go see them as they had been up since 7.30 thursday morning travelling back. We are, however, going up to see them today and they have offered to take us out for an early dinner :D

Hope everyone has a loverly day oh and seeing as I missed it yesterday (seriously - how fast does this thread move:rotfl:)....................WIGGLE WIGGLE smiley-dance017.gif
