Re the prizes - nothing edible:D:DHow about Halloween themed prizes this month, then you could have a pumpkin which would solve the issue of (ahem) some of us having a tendancy to eat our prizes :rotfl:
That was one of the ideas I had, kerri, think I might go with that one - can't have you lot eating any more poor innocent little animals:D:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

...wellllll....I do have a recipie for bat chowder :rotfl::rotfl:
Small spendy day for me today. We did the big grocery shop at Mr A this morning (OH came with me which was nice, although I am so used to shopping on my own I found it really odd/hard choosing things with someone else) spend for that came out of main budget.
Put the car through the car wash for £5 (usually £8) - didn't want to be told off by mummy for not using the voucher she gave me again
Then popped into local town, got a few bits we didn't pick up in Mr A, stocked up on pain killers, flu stuff etc etc for when I'm away on business (I always make sure I have plenty of supplies with me, nothing worse than being caught out while away - though usually I end up dishing them out to other folks who are ill _pale_). Also picked up a blow up travel pillow for £1 in the new P*undworld store - going to give it a try as there's nothing worse than being a 'nodding donkey' on a 12hr flight. I gave it a quick try just now and surprisingly it seems quite good so we'll see how it lasts (some are just SO expensive). Need to add up the totals but I reckon I spent about £15 in all, including some Xmas money wallets for the menagery of niceses/nephews/godsons etc we seem to have - thinking I am gonna have to start having some sprogs myself just to get a return on what we shell out every B'day and Xmas :rotfl::rotfl:
Off to make red lentil thai red curry for dinner - one of Mr S feed your family for a fiver recipies...wish me luck!Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

hello everyone
a huge THANKS to spoon for doing the thread again - it must take a lot of your time and I do really appreciate it - I know i dont post a lot but I 'feel' as if you are keeping an eye on me:p:D:rotfl:
I loved my frog last month - thank you x
I have a lot on my plate just now including health things so I really need to keep my mind on not spending - I did a budget the other night and was gob-smacked at what I should have left at the end of the month - I never have anywhere near it so I must be letting it dribble away somewhere - if I could keep to my budget this month Winterval (thank you for finding that word!!!) would be so much easier!!
good luck to everyone
BTW I had a NSD yesterday - 1/20
toots xxPeace will be mine

Well i'm not off the mark yet, but next week is looking promising.
Had to buy DS1 some bits and pieces for his trip, so ended up spending a fortune.
Thanks for adding me to the list spoon!

Got led astray by the clothes, needed some new ones for the winter. Spent two satisfying hours sorting out my bedroom, and I feel good for it! Tomorrow is the bookcase and the DVDcase after jogging and normal flylady activites.....so it will be one tomorrow
Can you pop over here elfen. I've been faffing about, attempting to sort out my room all day!
NSD 2 Still have conjunctivitis so didn't feel much like going out! Still look like I've been crying all week!
I'm trying to pluck up the courage to get haemorroid cream for the bags underneath. But can't quite bring myself to buy it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
