Am feeling quite positive today ...except for my cold that seems to be coming on.
Have put another £100 in savings..so have achieved a couple of goals
£22k in savings
over 50% of mortgage in savings.
I'll also reach another goal in a couple of days of owing in the £21ks..so all looking good.
On the health front it looks like all my cancer treatment will be over by new year..so I can have a fresh new start as my BCN phoned today to see how I was doing and I explained that I hadn't heard from radiotherapy...so she phoned them and I have rads planning on 24th nov followed by rads starting 9th dec...by my reckoning i finish 30th december allowing for bhs and weekends.
now that is worth celebrating.....
so 1 chemo session next week
rads planning following week
start rads 9th dec every weekday...15 of them
then get my life back to normal.
this may impact on what DH can earn on the days in dec and so I may not get to £20k as I wished in december...if my rads are dinner time ish then DH can still work the mornings provided i CAN DRIVE MYSELF THERE AND BACK and am well enough...if not he'll have to not do the mornings and just do the nights. Will have to wait and see what time they are and how i feel0 -

All positive news then! (hope the cold disappears soon!)
Well done on getting to 50% of your mortgage, very impressive!
Am sure you look forward to the new year!

It will definitely do your mental state good to know the worst that can be sent your way is over. Really good it falls for a new year/new start.
Sorry to hear you have a cold. Wrap up warm. It has suddenly gone freezing hasn't it. Don't want you being under the weather when you are having treatment. x0 -
thanks Michelle...am staying under duvet and not risking going out anywhere as don't want to catch a chill0
