Thankyou everyone..it's so nice to see you all posting.
I think little and often soon adds up as I did that when I was busting the debt.It also stops me blowing the money on useless stuff.
I try to be as frugal as possible with shopping and at the same time do a few surveys, have now opened 3 halifax reward accounts and halifax clarity rewards CC...so this give me £240 p/y for just moving money around,am trying to save in the best accounts...so the interest is free money and i use quidco for any major spending.
I get the taxi fuel from shell so that I can collect gift cards and they can be used for christmas presents.I save all our lose change and bank it every week.....all these little things mount up over time.
DD2 also gives me board and DH gets a small sick pension for an injury he received 20 odd years ago and i pay those straight into savings.
I'm also hoping to be able to transfer any spare money out of the main current account each month to bring it down to zero...this should be achievable next month as all the pits tests, badges, insurances etc have all just been paid.0 -
Another £29 put in savings....£20 OF £1 coins and £9 paypal money.
Have been and renewed by taxi badge this morning and done banking but am afraid not alot else going on today as am tired and have chemo on wednesday so need to rest.
Hope everyone is having a good day x0 -

sorry to hear about your health , but you sound incredibly determined and Im sure you will have no problem meeting your goals! (holiday sounds great incentive too!)
its good to hear people are also achieving things paying things off little and often- I think that is gonna be the way I go at the moment ..

Glad to hear you are feeling ok. Just didn't want you pushing yourself as you felt ok and then feeling wiped out. I know how draining it is. My friend is going through her 3rd bout of chemo and i know how it wipes her out. Horrible to have to go through it. x0
