Morning all..hope you're all well.
it's pouring down here today so the only thing I'll be doing today is filling the car and then pottering about indoors.
I've just transferred the £95.25 I've saved on insurance into the savings.
Am awaiting a £9 paypal payment to hit my account for surveys and that can go in.
Am up to £41.50 on yougov so am hoping for a few more surveys to come along quickly so that I can get a £50 cheque..it takes such a long time on there to reach a payout.
Hope you all have a good day.0 -
Hello Taxi, you come over as so determined to finish the mortgage that i'm sure you'll do it. You've already done amazingly getting rid of the debt so you are in the groove!
From reading your posts you have lots of good ideas too about the 'little and often' payments as well as the bigger ones and I think that drip, drip effect is great at bringing the mortgage down.
Good luck in your endeavours and look forward to reading how you are getting on.

You can be very focused when you want to be Taxi so I expect your mortgage is cowering with fear at the moment

It just goes to show the importance of Critical Illness Cover.
Glad all seems to be going well with you
gg xA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Very good luck to you - I can't think of a better incentive than Cuba! I too think it is worth being careful for a few years to save giving the banks loads of money. It makes me shudder when I look back at some of the naive financial decisions I was persuaded into in my youth..... And then you will be free to spend your money on what YOU want.
All the bst,
SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
