I fully understand where you are coming from. The second option is the only option eh. You are going to be part of the fun.

I think i would be worried most if it were me who would sort the kids out as DH is clueless. I'd have to do one of those manuals that you see people do about how often to cut their toenails and when they need jabs etc etc.

Can't believe you've read all of my diary. I don't ever feel i get up to much exciting. Nice to have someone new to chat to though.

I have to start teaching my husband to do financial stuff and how to use the washer/dryer etc...lol
luckily my lot are all grown up now..lol

Your signature is looking great Taxi I have no doubt that you can do it. One thing I am looking forward to reading when this is all over is that you and your o/h are off on one of your amazing holidays, it will be great to imagine you in the Caribbean, white sand and blue sea. Actually on this the second grey , rainy day in a row I'll keep that thought anyway.

Thanks Tootallulah....I will be back in Cuba which is my favourite place as soon as I can after getting rid of the mortgage.
Weather is beautiful here which is good as need to nip out to bank and deposit the takings.
Another £10 in savings this morning...this was 2x £5 rewards money from Halifax.From next month this should be 4 x rewards as we've also opened a joint account and a clarity CC with them.

Hi Taxi, i have read your posts before on hypnos diary and think you are doing amazingly well given everything that you have been through. Cuba sounds amazing, that is one of the things i am looking forward to the most, being able to go to all the exotic places in the world instead of paying a load of interest every month to the banks :mad:. We are scheduled to be mortgage free in just under 15 years at the minute (this was 22 before reducing the term!). I would love to get this down to 10 years. Will be following your diary and goodluck .

Thanks you two..I definitely agree that you can't beat the white sands and clear blue sea in Cuba...with a lovely mojito in hand....heaven

wantabetterlife...we bought this house just short of 8 years ago and each time we remortgaged we did it over fewer years...then 2 years ago we got our fantastic lifetime tracker and reduced it to 10 years and it's amazing how much more of the payment now goes to capital.

Have been out and done my jobs and I found another £10 in the house in 20ps so have banked that so another £10 in the savings.
